Ok Summer holidays have begun, I mean..really it's winter..but its still summer holidays.
So what am I getting up to?
1- Starcraft, I'm getting decent ping to na atm, and I have yet to try out kr, but I expect good things, Korea being fairly close to Japan, should be gooood.
ZvP - Trying out a bunch of things, quite happy with this MU atm, my build is really refined, just trying to work out a few things regarding my muta -> ultra bane style, such as whether or not to go double evo.

ZvT - Again I'm kind of just experimenting across the board, old style 4 queen builds, 6 queen, early speed, just every strat going at the moment. I've got to say though, my favourite is 6 queen into 3 base muta, one of my favourite aspects in this MU is burrowed banes, landing a massive baneling landmine is SO SATISFYING! The issue with muta is that it's not the greatest v Mech, I'll touch on this in a sec.

ZvZ - Favourite match up, so much diversity, it's not my strongest match up, but it's the one I enjoy the most. I'm fairly confident at the moment, I'm trying out a cute little build at the moment which leads into the ultra ling festor style, but it looks exactly the same as my muta build, so I'm quite happy with it. I played in the NA playhem today, got to ro16 where I lost to TSLRagnarok, and my god did I give him a run for his money, and that was with the build being relatively unrefined, expecting good things to come of this =D.

Scouting - I need to be scouting every single game, every single MU a lot more. I'm trying to get into the habit of overseer scouting every game as it has to potential to reveal so much information. Obviously this will be the trick for not going muta vs mech in ZvT, it will help me identify if P is all inning, and vZ muta/roach festor etc.

Camera Hotkeys - Are awesome. I've bind them so I basically don't have to move my hand to use them, they make everything that little bit faster so I can focus my apm elsewhere. For those who want to know how I've binded them. I 'make them' by going command +e/r/f/v and 'go to them' by shift+e/r/f/v. The reason it's command and not control is basically because mac. Command for windows users is the Alt key I think, the 1 just to the left of space. I use this for all my hotkey binds.

Just a general overview of summer plans/so far.
I left Auckland at like 5:30 am on Tuesday, had a breakfast of kings consisting of Asahi and Sushi,
the plane journy to Narita is about 11 hours, i watched LOTR for 9 of those hours =D. 2 seats to myself so I had loads of leg room, was good times.

Catching up with family has been really nice, hadn't seen them for 4 months .

Over Summer, as I've kind of outlined in my other blog, all the Starcrafts -> i want to get NA GM, which I know I can do as long as I grind NA now to get my MMR up. KR I want to get top 8 master, this will follow shortly after NA GM. I want to play in as many playhems as possible, just because I don't seem to do well in online tournys so the more exposure I can get to them the better.

For you Sing folk - I'll be in Singapore 26th-29th of Dec, would love to catch up with as many of you as possible.
Sydney folk - I may be there late jan/early feb, nothing booked for that yet though.

NZ folk - Ill see you in Feb =D Looking forward to seeing the NZ scene grow over the next year, Barcrafts have come so far in the past 8 months, starting late feb and now their running tournys with massive prize pools =0.

What else can I talk about, AH.
So I'll be getting a new computer in Singapore aswell, shippings expensive and I have to leave Japan to 'reset' my Japan holiday visa, but what this entails is that I'll be streaming from the beginning of 2013. That is...you know....providing the world doesn't end.......herpaderpmayans.

Edit: Shit almost forgot! So me and lemminks went to the same school in Japan, missed each other by about 3 months, but when he comes back in 1 month or so the plan is to meet up and do stuff.
