Or not. In two weeks time, I ship off to medschool. Did I screw myself over? Reading things from the searches I did via Google, maybe. But hell, I'd rather do this than anything!
(Okay, fine. Maybe I'd like to play SCII and BF3 all day, every day as a profession but seriously, its not do-able, specially for my parents.)
So, the next two weeks may be the last ever time people will hear from me for a long time (and I mean looooooooooooooong time or not ) Wait, getting sidetracked. Right, get to the point. So this blog is to well, ask my peers here who are doing the field of medicine, WTF do you bring/get?
I know I gotta bring a change of clothes, my laptop, monitor, handphone, tablet, a ton of different coloured pens, pencils and highlighter, binders, folders and that's as much as I can think off :/
Help a Panda out? :3
PS: I begin packing my room tomorrow. Maybe I take pics? Yes? No? I don't know? I frankly have no idea how to condense stuff I've been getting for over five years and smush it into an organised system of boxes

Take the things that you use on a daily basis. Everything else will still have a spot at your parents place right? You'll probably find a bunch of people to go shopping for other crap that you might have missed when you get there (assuming this is some kind of dorm situation).
Clothes, toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothbrush etc), a few eating things like bowls/plates/chopsticks/cups
Coffee (you will need it) washing powder so you can wash your clothes
some bedding materials like sheets and pillow
Laptop
Might not need all those things but thats what I needed at the dorm I stayed at
"A change of clothes" sounds like your going on camp or playing outside in mud or something. You won't need as much as you think. If you have a place to sleep, food and clothing sorted you should be fine. As for doctor stuff atleast for my med school we didn't need anything in particular. We had to get a labcoat and a stethescope but that was all arranged once we got there.
Keep in mind how long it will be before you next have to go home, if it's only 2-3 months you can always wait to pick it up then. Also a laundry basket and powder are useful.
Edit: I haven't needed a calculator but you might want one. I've always just used excel and did basic arithmetic myself.
goodbye panda! i will miss you, and i guess we have to do this BO9 ASAP! glhf at med school though, you going to need it!
