So after a heart wrenching week of waiting I finally got my clear keycaps from http://www.keycapsdirect.com (Signature Plastics)
I was kind of worried at first since it was a make or break situation from a random Google search since there wasn’t much information about the site (I am a lurker in Geek Hack forums and found nothing). There were other sites such as WASD keyboards http://www.wasdkeyboards.com on occations the geek hack store http://geekhackstore.com/info.html and ebay. However I just couldn’t find anything without forking out tons of cash just for bits of plastic for a keyboard.
Back when I got into the phase of Mech keyboards about a year and 1/2 ago. I always wanted a “girly” keyboard, since allot of mech’s that you can buy can look pretty ugly for the price tag. I stumbled on the Filco Majestouch that came in Pink, However I never liked the creamy pink colour and the only place I could find them were misleading Chinese sites. After a few months after hogging around the Diatech Japanese site (Filco) I managed to stumble on the Filco Majestouch 2 that came in a nice metallic pink with white keycaps.
I absolutely fell in love with it but with the unfortunate price tag of $170 (not including postage costs) and import issues (since it was only available in Japan for about 4 months); I couldn’t afford it with my low income of $40 per fortnight from EB Games. Since most of my income went towards transport for the Xin Gaming Tournaments in Hawthorne, Melbourne (where I met deth and loved him long time) & also was saving up for a new PC as I had a crappy 2nd hand quad core running XP that could only just run SC2 (with about 30fps).
After about 6 months, deth was switching around keyboards and ended up getting his Pink Ducky Shine after ACL Melbourne. Then was looking for the Rainbow keycaps I was originally looking for a year ago, found out that because of the pink LED’s would look terrible on blue, green and yellow keycaps (Plus Livibee already had them on her Filco, jelly jelly).
So instead I looked for clear caps. I found a few on e-bay that were tinted black with white writing, for about $30. I decided not to get them because they looked pretty dull and cheap. (also I didn’t really want to buy a full key set when I would only use ½ of them (checks ftw))
Anyway I found keycaps direct, and was amazed at the selection. What grabbed my attention were the clear caps that were ACTUALLY CLEAR OMFG. And $1 per key was pretty decent considering you would pay more at WASD keyboards for custom colours (they don’t even have clear).
Anyway, these feel amazing, much better quality that the Ducky stock keycaps and I’d recommend this site to anyone that wants to get custom keycaps. You can even make multi lingual keys like Korean – English etc.

there are diff brightness' :P when it's on max. It literately blinds you ( especially if you look at it from birds eye)
I turn it on to max some times, just to train myself to not look down when typing.
