samgeopsal is my favourite BBQ dish in the whole world too! especially when eaten with the guchuchang (chilli paste), raw onions and cabbage (so tehres some balance)!

Where did you guys go? Looks like a nice kr restaurant

Its called Superstar K on Tanjong Paghar. The food is nice and its quite clean and its also themed like a classic oldstyle korean BQQ place. Samgeopsal in the singapore markets aren't amazing so my family usually go out to eat it

Most places only use gas or electric now, but i love going to one with the hot coals, makes it more exciting plus gives the food a better flavour.

I have to agree Korean BBQ is AWESOMESAUCE! but there are some really bad once here in Sydney, like last time! my mate and me saw this new Korean BBQ place with price of $25 per person we thought WOW $25 per person this is gonna be off the hook! so we go in, start eating but the food doesnt taste so good and me being a nubcake self continued to eat hoping that it will get better, 2 days in bed and constant river of poop I have learnt my lesson never to eat at cheap all you can eats...ever! lol

P.S: This was the first bad experience Ive had with Korean BBQ, the others were nomnomnomnomnom awesome!

that meat looks nothing like what you get in korea haha
삼겹살 should have a lot more fat on it :P

Meh, this was a fancy samgeopsal which cuts like all the weird fatty bits. It tastes nice but I don't really enjoy it.
I know what proper samgeopsal is meant to be like :3 i have it in korea all the time and at home~
My favorite dish is probably kalguksu with pajeon (knife noodles and leek pancake? not so sure lol :3)
