Today I joined my very first Masters Cup.

Ro128: vs Legionnaire

Yes, the Legionnaire.
I frankly didn't know where his skill level was at but I was pretty sure he had to be good since he qualified for WCS. And it's Legionnaire.

Simple stuff, I 3 hatch LingBaned him and won the game


Ro64: vs x5.Bard

I used a build I learnt from lllllll (with a Queen portrait) on sc2sea chat. He claimed to be a smurf (PM me maybe, I'm really curious) and he had some interesting build so I asked him about a particular build.

I used it against Bard, and it worked pretty well.

Ro32: vs MskiRadiant

So I reached to the stage of the tournament where Bo3 comes into play,
This series was casted by Baldie and Zain (God of BA )

Game1 - He went for 1gate -> Nexus -> 1gate and I went for a 2 base ling-bane in response (*shifty eyes* yeah....response)

At one point it looked like he was going to hold it with simcity but I just had too much lings and banes so that was game 1.

I was happy to watch MrZain exploding with joy when I killed 14 probes with 2 banes

Game2 - Daybreak

He went for a proxy double gate near my natural, but luckily I sent my 2nd overlord to my third so it was able to spot it.

The game was weird. Really weird.

But I managed to hold it with ease, and finished him off with a bane bust (yet again)



Ro16: vs inyourface

This game made me mad and I don't even get mad that often.

ZvZ.
Dumb stuff happened.
Lost 0-2.

I really need to work on my ZvZ :\

Summing up, my first Masters Cup was filled with cheeses. Lots of cheeses. I blame getting 3 Protosses in a row
