This is my first official post on sc2sea and I would like to introduce myself to all of you.
I'm a zerg player currently representing Team Exile 5. I'm a full time uni student studying advanced science at the university of Sydney, hence I am really able to play sc2 on the weekends. With the little time I have, I try to play as many games as I can to maximize any improvement if possible. Overall, I am a very macro oriented and reactive player. This is the main reason I hate and am dreadful at the ZvZ matchup.
The main goal I have for myself at the moment is to improve my ZvZ matchup in every way possible, this involves engagement, build order, roach timings, countering mutalisk etc.
Currently, I'm ranked top 10 in with an approximate 64% win rate. Even though I lose most of my ZvZ matches, my ZvP and ZvT match ups are decent. I feel that ZvT is fairly simple as long as I spread overlords and creep well, pay good attention to macro and make calm decisions. Most of the engagements are very quick and quiet micro intensive.
ZvP is my second weakest match up as it can be quiet unpredictable. There are many routes that the protoss player can attack based on 2 bases, e.g. 8 gates, DTs, immortal sentry and blink stalkers. Sometimes they can just expand fairly early into the game. For these reasons I don't really like this match up.
Yesterday on NA ladder I met CombatEX who cannon rushed me and exclaimed EZ. How polite So at the moment, I play 50% of my games on SEA and the other 50% on NA. Hopefully, I can get to meet you guys and have some sc2 games togethor.
