Over the Recent Weeks i have seen Production in Casting Getting Higher and higher.
As some of you know i do Alot of hte BSG Casting For SEA , Right now i am really trying to improve the quaility of the Stream and also jsut my casting in general.
Here is where i ask for the Community's help a little bit .
What i want to know is what Do you as the viewers want to see.
Production Wise and also Casting Wise.
At the moment my Game knowlage is only at a High diamond Level.
I enjoy the Solo Casting More then anything and am mainly Play by play.
Basically I Wanna try and be like tasteless. With his professional Play by play and analysis aswell. Thats what i want to strive to be.
Please any advice or even Want to Try a cast together let me know !
Always trying to improve and take Feedback from SEA.
If you wanna practice analysis, jump on GSL level events with Tastosis on it and try to predict whats going to happen, as well as what could have gone better etc
You have to be a psychic to predict the BSG. Shit is next-level meta

The thing that I think is often overlooked and is the most fundamental and important thing - know your target audience, and cast to your target audience. If you're saying you want to increase your target audience to include everyone, then do it incrementally.
And basicaly the same idea to flamga - find games that have been casted by some of the big name guys, get the replay and do your own cast, then compare.
Casting is basically telling a story, so don't worry if the story you tell isn't identical to the other guy's - concern yourself more with the "mechanics" of casting first - concisely conveying ideas, generating excitement through changes in voice volume/pace/pitch
There was also a state of the game where Artosis talked a lot about casting and the attitude to have. Sorry I can't remember the exact episode, but I *think* it was towards the end of last year, in one of the few leading up to the drunken christmas special. He talks about things like how to approach casting events in a game, that it's not all about good vs bad, it's about strategy and choices, and how to discuss without calling the player a moron basically.
Don't be afraid to dive in to higher level reps either mate. You are a boss BSG caster, but definitely just throw some higher level rep casts up on YouTube. It will give you lots of opportunity to practice (in the same way you will improve more by playing continuously through the week than just a single session on weekends, you will improve your casting more if you spend more regular/consistent time at it). There's an entire replay database at your disposal on sc2sea, there's matchday.cc which is an awesome source for KR reps, and of course drop.sc and sc2rep/sc2replayed etc.
I had one other really amazing point to make, but I forgot it. It's a shame, because you might have shit your pants at how awesome it was. Maybe. Point is, I'll tell you later if I remember what it was.
breadfan has covered everything I would have said including his bonus point which I was also going to say but have also forgotten... Believe me it was awesome.
Cast some pro level games = more YouTube exposure and better practice.
Concentrate on not missing anything in the game. But you're pretty good at that already.
And if you want to do play by play, you can do that without adding in "high level" predictions.
Professional commentary is about making the game exciting and explaining what's happening right now so people can stay interested. I find a lot of the predictions of some casters are pointless and detract from the experience rather than make it better to watch. You don't usually see commentary of the future in other sports, they just get excited about what's going on right then.
