Dissapointed isn't the word I'd use to describe how I feel right now. I think this is about as sad as I've ever been in recent memory -- losing WCG didn't even put me into this position.
A teaser!
The good news for all the kind folk who both followed my journey throughout the tournament + gave their support - I shall have a blog written up by the end of the week: it will probably be released after wednesday, as I'm waiting for a response from System on if there shall be a podcast this week (which there definitely should be).
That's all from me for a bit. I need to distance myself from SC2 for at least a day.
I had so many cool builds prepped for Zerg man... you ruined it with your I'm-Tgun-I-Do-What-I-Want play. I'm very impressed and definitely should have taken your wild style more into account when preparing for the Zergs. I saw the replay of our game 1... So sneaky pretending to make that third hatchery... Pity commentators didn't pick up on that, and I looked like an idiot instead of you looking like a genius. Tough one against Mafia, really could see how much you wanted that one man! Can't say I was cheering for you for that one though.
I never said this before, but I think you have really rubbed off on me and a few others (you can do it literally if you like). We used to never show much emotion and really just try to be "polite" and "civil", but you taught us man - You really aren't appreciating the game at it's finest unless you scream in joy after a win and breakdown in tears after a lose. The tgun yell and fist pump is now in my blood, but I will still scratch my head and smile after a lose - Absolutely hate sympathy.
You and Pam have really grown to become a favourite sight of mine, much love. That said, I still hate seeing your name right next to mine in a bracket, but no worries, I will bounce back and have you run to the bathroom in sadness because of me!
You will bounce back, no problem man~ Please continue gaming... you can't show your passion and shout like that in other jobs... unless you want to be the Asian lady working in a Chinese food court.
Can't wait for the blog man! Tgun fighting!
Big fan,
Rayray
P.S Really enjoyed our pre-game banter show, a really fond memory set in my heart for me!
Dude you went out with a bang. Like I told you after the tourney man, you and Mafia were fighting tooth and nail either of you could have taken it, your spines coming up just in time to stop Mafia's push made the crowd absolutely shit themselves and I was even screaming backstage with excitement while people were trying to give me instructions.
The last game was so close and the most entertaining ZvZ I have EVER seen. You are world class man, keep it up.
I agree with what the others have said. You may have lost but you proved to the whole world that you're one hell of a force to be reckoned with. I knew that already, of course, but now the 5k or so viewers know that as well.
I really hope to meet you one day, because I really admire not only your play, but the passion you show for the game whether in victory or defeat. The first game I ever saw of you was your loss to ZeNEXHack in GSTL, and after you lost you had your head down on the table (much like your loss to PiG this weekend) and I was really like "Wow, this guy cares about the game so much." and I can really relate to that feeling of disappointment after a loss. This may also sound odd, but I also really like your BM when you lose. You seem like a very genuine person, who doesn't really care too much about what others think. You don't put up a front like some other pro gamers, rather you are always one with your emotions and completely honest. "I'd rather you hate me for what I am than love me for something I'm not." seems to apply with you.
You're my favourite player, tgun. You're not going to China, but you still have many loyal fans like who will continue to support you whether you win or lose. Don't stop fighting
Sincerely, ETL.Soundwave/SSJ5Gogetenks

tgunnnnnn you're still my favourite player by a mile, and as soundwave said - not only is your play super sick, but your passion for the game is what makes you awesome.
I love watching someone who doesn't bullshit for the sake of their image - but rather has real opinions. I can actually take your word for it when you say "so-and-so is really good, I need to pay attention in these games", rather than wondering if you're just being PR friendly.
Don't stop fighting brah, the disappointment means you've still got some serious passion for the game.
PS: unburrowing your roaches on mafias infestors HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG

Hope you read this man, but you fought so well you gave the crowd an amazing games and you fought to the end. Don't be dissapionted. Youre an amazing player.
Keep it up!
Man you kept yourself together and showed the highest level of passion I have ever seen. Third is nothing to be disappointed about take it on your stride and practice hard so you can take first next time! I remember watching you at ACL Melbourne and after your loss/win, I cannot remember you turned around to me and started talking to me as though I was a close friend. You are an amazing, friendly and determined bloke who should have no doubts in knowing that you can easily beat every player you come against with practice and passion.
