G'day again!

Since I had such a positive reaction to my last blog post I decided I had better get another one together again! Instead of making two to three smaller posts I decided to make one super post instead. Heh.


So the tickets for WCS sold out fast huh? I got in within two minutes of them going on sale and managed to secure tickets for both my missus (Amy) and myself.

The event is super exciting, it's a huge opportunity for our esports scene to get some international recognition. Everything is lining up perfectly and I am quietly confident that we can get even more viewers than many NA tournaments. This is because we are passionate!

So as you may have picked up from the title I wanted to do something to get some more attention on the event. I was just going to make a vlog but I decided to throw in a code for Deus Ex Human Revolution that I had lying around. It's kind of a dirty tactic, but I don't mind when the cause is good


You guys are more than welcome to participate if you want a copy of DX:HR, of course.


July is over and I released my monthly YouTube earnings and strategy report.


The fall of interest in Diablo 3 hit me pretty hard since so much of my content was focused on the game. Overall I had very good growth on both of my channels though, despite the loss of revenue.

It's a good lesson to learn about diversifying your content, I had planned to do as such anyway, but it's nice to see everything laid out in front of me. "This is what happens if you focus on one thing". Pretty cool stuff but it means no Adsense payment next month, so no big investments for a while.

In Other News

I was recently interviewed on YouTube by Tom aka "Pandamana". You can check out the interview here. We had a good chat about gaming, being a YouTube creator and who we draw inspiration from for our content. Tom's a cool guy.

I also picked up my first ever mechanical keyboard yesterday - a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate. I was going to go with the Das Silent for recording but I realized I don't use my keyboard that much in my videos anyway. If I do it will only be for Starcraft and I think our community actually likes the click click, haha. Too early to say how I like it yet, maybe next time.
