Farewell, Gratitude, & New Beginnings

Thank you, Xeria Gaming

Throughout my stint with Xeria Gaming, I was treated with utmost respect and friendship. I was well looked after from a player's standpoint and thoroughly enjoyed great friendships and comradery within the team. Benji has been a marvelous manager - hard working, pleasant, professional, flexible, and always looking out for the team as his best interest. I have tremendous amount of respect for the man, and he will always be a good friend to me. Chris has been nothing short of fantastic organising and promoting events after events for Xeria Gaming, and been a great friend in every team discussion.

I also want to take this chance to say how much I appreciate Xeria Gaming for flying me out to Adelaide at the chance to compete for the ACL and WCS qualifiers even though I won't be representing Xeria Gaming in the finals of those events.

It was a pity I was never able to perform to the the promise I showed in NRG for Xeria Gaming and gather the accolades I originally intended to. But, but I am proud to say that I have always represented and defended my team with pride, even in the gravest moments. I sincerely look forward to see the future development for Xeria Gaming, but for now - I need to start looking out for myself, and it is with this thought in mind, that I've decided to turn a new chapter in my SC2 journey.

Team Immunity

I am very excited to announce that I will be joining my buddies Mafia, Zepph, Yang and Zain in Team Immunity. I am very proud to be representing Team Immunity in The ACL National Finals at Melbourne for my debut event. I honestly cannot think of any other players that I like personally along with the skill level I crave to bo31 with more than Yang and Mafia at their respective races. Along with the contacts iM are able to provide for me and my new teammates, I have never been more keen to hit the keyboard and grind like I've once done before. Also, like everyone else, I am looking forward to IM's release of their complete roster, so that I can develop relationships with these new players, and also with members of iM I've not yet had the pleasure to.

I strongly believe that the opportunities Team Immunity will provide for me and my teammates will inspire us to reach heights we've never even dreamed of. Making a huge splash internationally, multiple GMs on Korea, and multiple high placings in international events - it all seems so very close right now. (Mafia getting Korean GM as soon as he joined IM? It was a sign, and I want some).

I feel like I am reborn, that the Light that laddered more than Mafia may have returned. I am proud to be in Team Immunity, proud to continue representing Protoss and continue to cause nausea with my sick unique builds. Thank you Team Immunity, for inspiriting my desire to compete - my thirst and hunger for Zerg blood and tears has never been stronger.

iM Light
