Disclaimer: This is a joke blog obviously, if you're gonna see it any other way and be offended by it, your issue is probably not with this blog, but with me. It does however tackle a serious issue of missing items and customer service!
Today I've decided to share my experience with a moving professional company.
Day 1:
I attempted to move my items, all 2,000 of them. It was a relatively simple process, and I only had to click a single button "send to stash!". Whoa, technology these days is as amazing as tgun's "rocking" chair which actually does not have a rocker, it just has tgun!
I received an "input limit reached", lost connection to the company and my items disappeared into thin air!!! Omg i should start a magic show with my new found skills!
Day1:
I contacted the company right away with a very detailed explanation and evidence!
This is an AH issue where the item I bought disappeared due to my inventory not having enough free space to accommodate it.
I bought 2,000 exquisite essence for crafting costing approx 3.5 mil.
Right after that, the game client disconnected me and said "input limit reached". I logged back on, tried to send the items to my stash but it disappeared. As you can see from my history, i've bought a lot of crafting materials before at 200 quantity a pop without an issue.
Could you kindly either return the $3,581,459 gold to me or 2,000 essence to me?
I have attached a screenshot for your reference.
I believe its a bug as there is no proper error handling in place when my inventory cannot accommodate the spots (20 slots, but i thought i had enough).
Day 2: The moving company replied with a copy and pasted template which did not make sense and insisted that I was the one confused!
I can certainly understand your confusion with this Auction House issue. When retrieving a stack of items that you do not have inventory space for, you will receive an error until you make enough room in oyur bags. Your items should still show in the completed tab and be available to be re-sent to your stash when there is enough room.
If you are still not seeing these items, please let our Developers know!
Outlook thus far: Stormy, expect torrential showers.
At this point I've sent in one last reply and I'm prepare to write it off and will probably not follow it up anymore. It sucks but oh well, what can you do!!!
In regards to your materials that you purchased from the auction house though - that is not something that we are able to assist with. It's not that we don't WANT to give it back to you - it's the fact that we don't have the ABILITY to give it back to you or even adjust your gold.
The customer support department has been given limited support abilities by development in relation to Diablo III - and although we can create items for World of Warcraft, we do NOT have the ability to create items for Diablo III. Like we dont have a button that would create an item.
So it isn't even a matter of wanting to do it for you - it's a matter of being able to do it for you. We simply can't; the buttons don't exist.
If youd like to see that changed, I would definitely encourage you to let our developers and policy makers know by posting on the forums about it - but as of this moment, this just would not be something that we could assist with and I am truely sorry about that - thats a LOT of gold/mats to lose due to this error
