So i was a huge Bisu fanboy in broodwar for like 4 years before sc2 came out, watched all his championships unfold, declared he was the best player ever, blah blah blah.

One of the most notable games bisu ever played was when he "horror gated" Pokju on sin peaks of baekdu (aka crossfire in sc2), as seen here:

He was the first person to ever do this kind of ridiculous manner pylon into proxy gates combo, and his opponent quit competitive BW very shortly after (possibly straight after, I can't remember). The game where bisu horror gated his opponent went down as one of the more notable games of all time (mainly because of the ridiculousness of the strat).

So anyway, I'm bored and laddering SEA today, when i run into a protoss called "HorrorX", on a two player map, PvP... And i paid homage to my BW hero. Replay below!

Very cool though. I think we need more badass build names like Horror Gate. Even 'Destiny Cloud Fist' is a bit snore.

haha how did that work! That video was awesome because of the korean commentary too haha they are so enthusiastic.

Why didn't his opponent just surround the Pylon and kill it? Or was it a matter of 'too stunned' at that point of time or something. :S

Because pylons have 600hp in BW, and Bisu can easily make more vs the lost mining time.

Pokju retired in shame shortly after this game.
