A few months ago I made a goal to get diamond on SEA with each race. I achieved this more or less. I then set out to get masters on SEA. I gave up. Now I am going to get GM on Korea.
Lately everyone's posting blogs about getting fit and improving their play even when they are simply just fat or bad and it sickens me just reading them. So why not show them how it's done?
So here's my history with the Korean server:
As you can see from my Liquipedia page my ID on the Korean server is the exceedingly cute 파파곰 ("papa bear"). I went 5-0 in placements in my first season and got Platinum, and then lent my account to TA guys who didn't have a Korean account like TAamnesiac and TAdeth offracing as P and it got high diamond. I then proceeded to never touch ladder and just host FXO Korean KOTHs. That is my history with the Korean server.
Now over the last few weeks I've been laddering a bit on SEA:
Most of you probably heard of the game I beat TABottles in. That was a really big confidence-booster and made me keep putting less than 30% into my ladder play.
So what am I planning to do to push beyond where I am at the moment?
1) 20 games a year minimum on the Korean Ladder: Some years I can push it closer to 21 or even 22 but these are rare and far in-between.
2) Excercise: I can't think fast enough, nor move my hands fast enough if I am unfit and have excess energy sitting in my body (although Redtube helps). So I will be exercising every day.
a) Muscle-building: this is for losers
b) Cardio: 30-45mins 3-4 times a week + touch football on mondays
3) Strategy/Build-order practice:this is for chumps
I'll be trying to limit my slave-like overlay making to max 25 hours a day.
So those are my goals I guess! I will be updating this every few days, maybe every day with just a short status update!
Current Ladder ranking: Unranked
Bring you an update soon
