I had contemplated for a long while if I should join a clan. I did want the practice, but I wasn't going to be able to commit much time due to school commitments. I did want to compete in the PDCL as well too.
After hearing about TCP's in-house ladder, I wanted in on it and so I asked Frogmite if I could trial there. Being the kind soul he is, he welcomed me with open arms, and I got even better news when he told us that a team had pulled out of the PDCL, and TCP would be replacing them.
I naturally jumped at the opportunity to play in a clan league, I've always wanted to do it.
It was great fun playing in the GSTL all-kill format - with Huk cheering me on as I played, and the rest of the TCP members who probably didn't even know me reacting in joy whenever I won a game.
It was just a cool display of how a simple in-group (Basically a group you belong to) such as a clan can cause people to support you even though they have no idea who you are.
I felt buoyed by this support, and played the best I could. I won't spoil you as to who won, you can check out the recap, though there's a very high chance you do know the results if you've seen the PDCL thread.
Regardless, thank you TCP, for giving me the chance to be part of the clan and play in the PDCL Looking forward to the next few rounds!
Hi crazerk! Glad a clan and moral support from them has heightened your fire to play this game and improve haven't found one yet myself but I will eventually! Trust in myself
