I feel like putting more content into the community, but dont feel like blogging. Most of the time when I've done a blog, it was either short or done really quickly, because it actually does take a fair bit of time and effort to do good blogs. So instead, I think I can just vlog instead.
I've been thinking about what I'd actually be talking about, whether its mainly strategy talk, or my opinions on game changes etc as well as results. But I dont really want to turn it into a news kind of thing, Benji is already doing fine with that. If you have any good ideas for what you want me to talk about, tell me please ;P
Talk about the current metagame, strategies, tips for lower leagued players, things like that. Patch note opinions are good too. If you want to rant about things you can do so with a vlog. Just don't make it too slow though because I find those really boring.
Could always just do a replay analysis or two... help some lower league zergs out with explaining things that you did right/wrong and give them some tips.
Does it have to be sc2 related? Can always do like a personal log, and just express anything you want whether it be sc2, life or just simply how you are currently feeling.
I just want to echo what Meatex said, Video is a pain in the ass, mostly because you're going to mess it up and you have to re-record everything 4 times (whereas if you type you just backspace abit). Just be prepared :P
Give it a go, can be a fun project on a Friday/Saturday night ^_^
Meatex and Benji, it does depend on how he does it. If he's gonna do a professional job, like Benji, then yeah, it'll take a while. If it's stream of consciousness like Day[9], maybe not so much.
Satu, a possibility to try and cut down of time to produce is grab a bunch of topics to talk about, give yourself time limits for each topic and then just go for it. If it turns out you're one of those people that can get away with stream of consciousness vlogs, go for it. If it turns out rubbish, you may have to take the more professional approach.
