Hey have there been any changes to servers or anything in the last year?
Playing on NA and SEA today, and I have never lagged this hard playing SC2 ... the delay is ridiculous.. like 3 seconds to stim/pickup/boost etc. Nothing has changed on my end so I'm just wondering if anything has changed.
If nothing has changed and this is a more permanent thing, does anyone know of a way to fix or minimise the lag to the servers?
Re: Any server changes in the last 6 months - year?
I find sometimes when it happens to me, restarting net and computer usually solves it (sometimes I have to do it twice). Sometimes it's the connections. But if it is a regular thing, check with your ISP?

Sometimes I get lag when switching servers a lot. After running a repair on all my sc2 files seems stop lag. I dunno if it's just coincidence but it's worth a try

*could* be pre-downloading an upcoming patch. Not sure how it works, but I've run into this problem before where Blizzard assumes Australian's have decent internet and pre-patch your client while you're playing, causing some lag. Can stop it in the options in the launcher or if you end task on the AgentUpdate.exe
Might help anyway, otherwise it could just be server side lag if they are patching or something there? If your problem persists, consult a doctor!

I have a network monitor on my off screen, i haven't noticed any network activity so I dont think there is any DL happening. Probably just a temp thing. Maybe some node went down or something and is getting repaired. >.>

I don't ladder much but i have noticed an increase in latency on NA. Feels more like 500 than the usual 200-230 i think i get. Im in Perth on Telstra Cable. Lucky i play A move race
