Hey guys,
As most of you (99%) might not know is that I have had like a month or so break for Starcraft and been playing a lot and a lot of LoL and there was a few things I have learnt. The Community
The community in League of Legends seriously in my opinion is centered around megalomania and the fact they believe as individuals they are an aryan like person. I have been in a lot of ranked games while playing LoL and honestly the amount of ridiculousness I experienced while be a part of that community is horrendous. If you made one small mistake at the start of the game even if it would not affect the rest of the game or any one else and you then started carrying the team they would blame you for losing the whole game for them even if you were pretty much winning for them. Examples
I was playing a game and at the start of the game accidently got my E before W on Ashe (E is irrelevant) even though like 2 seconds after laning phase starts you get level 2 and get to pick another spell I still got blamed for the rest of the match. Even when I ended up carrying.
Skill Required
I found while playing that LoL really does not require major cognitive power or even an adequate game knowledge to play. My 6 year old nephew could probably play better than most of those wannabe 12 year old "MLG pros" you see everywhere in the LoL community. However in Starcraft there is so much thought to utilize and the amount of brain usage is humongous compared to that used in League of Legends. LoL is really a game that you can play for the first time and still go quite average KDA wise. While in Starcraft even if you have grown up with Age of Empires and Command and Conquer such as myself it still takes a while to grasp mechanics and the ability to get the right mindset to get a win. Final Words
Even though this is a really negative blog post towards League of Legends in all honesty I really enjoy the game just it is a very negative game with the community. If the tribunal system in LoL was better than this would not have to be said. In Starcraft as I said you still have the occasional troll and negative attitude player however a lot of the time this is not the case. In LoL EVERY game is filled with these sorts of people.
....
Starcraft community...I...I...I love you
I assume you're playing on OCE, there is no tribunal on Oceania yet, I would assume due to the player base being lower than EU West/East and NA. They also added a mute button for a reason, I like how you gave one example of most likely your last game played haha.
And I HIGHLY doubt your "6 year old nephew" could beat any of the "12 year old MLG pros" anytime soon, mechanically.
This post might sound a bit mean, I just really dislike these posts that bash LoL -.- I like both games why can't we all instead of hating on one or the other ;(

I said at the end of the post that I really do enjoy playing LoL I just hate the community. No that example was like my second ranked game and I can give more just my computer refreshed the page and I lost the entire full rant (I had done like double) and I just decided to give one instead of rewriting everything xD probably a slight over exaggeration on the nephew vs 12 year old mlg pros xD My nephew is an average 6 year old gamer he enjoys his Skylanders (Who doesn't?)

I am not for pitting communities against each other stating that one is better than the other.
HOWEVER, from my experiences, in CoD, LoL and Sc2. i have found that Sc2 has really nice people.
In CoD (just NODE/PUB) there is always the immature 12 year olds making "yo muma jokes" however there is the well mature 20 year olds. When in Ladder, you find there is MUCH more "king of the hill, top gun" men. Who love to power over you and insult you. However on the flip side there have been always a lot of really nice people.
In LoL i didnt play a lot (15 hours) and found, because i wasnt the greatest that i was constantly being abused. from all the as stated "MLGPros" much like Deliquio stated.
In Sc2. I found that Many people end the game with "gg wp" and even when i ask. "Got Any tips for PvP" they are willing to give something. However, there is always the cocky players that will swear at you and be really bad mannered "@!#& YOU DROPS ARE FOR !@#*S"
this is just my experiences, i am sure some of you have had worse/better ones with each community.
The StarCraft community is amazing. I am admittedly a pretty average player but I have so many examples of people being supportive to help you improve. One example which comes to mind was a post on All Things Zerg subreddit. This guy must have had a really crappy run and was obviously in rage at the time he wrote the post saying things like F#$% the game, F cheesers, etc etc and ultimately said he was giving up on StarCraft 2.
Sure there were a few responses to his post who were like "don't let the door hit your arse on the way out". But the majority of responses were more along the lines of - chill out, post some replays, maybe we can help you out. This was to a guy who was basically saying FU to everyone. I guess everyone kind of understood that you get moments which are frustrating (especially at the lower level) and feel like throwing in the towel. The fact that the overwhelming response was to try and help this guy out speaks volumes about just how great the SC2 community is.
Anyway just thought I'd share. Best community ever!

This is one of the reasons that I have a hard time queuing up for LoL, because I feel majority of the time I have to fight my own team along with the enemy team just to get through a game. If you can queue up with a few friends, or better yet, a full team of 5, it can be tons of fun to play.
Although I find SC2 requires a lot more focus to play, at least I don't have to deal with the negativity of other people, as most of the time my opponent is pretty friendly.
