Firstly i want to apologise for the recent events of Satiini and delayed pX payments.
Ive learnt a valuable lesson here that you should never run tournaments if you don't have the resources to actually run them. Whether the resources be money, gear or venues.
Now onto the topic of the recent state of Phoenix eSports and the future. I guess this is my official 'standing down' thread, i will no longer be running or even be a part of Phoenix eSports in the future. Im focusing on school and other life commitments. In saying this i will continue to run events like PXL Season 1 and hopefully bring that back for future Seasons. Melbourne TtpX SC2 LAN and Possibly pX weeklies.
Obviously most of these will have a name change since they are tied to Phoenix eSports.
Phoenix eSports will now be owned and ran by James 'Kiss' Im sure most of you have seen his thread on sc2sea ( http://www.sc2sea.com/showthread.php?t=7941 )
To explain why this happened is because,
James and I have been running Phoenix eSports for nearly 6 months before now, a few weeks ago I approached him saying i want to shut Phoenix eSports down. James was extremely keen to keep it going and asked if he could run Phoenix eSports after i leave.
I have agreed to do this obviously. I will be sticking around assisting him for the next month to make sure the transition happens smoothly.
You're a good guy Troy. It's unfortunate that your leaving pX announcement had to happen on the same day as this whole Satinni misunderstanding, but shit happens I 'spose.
