I didnt realise it was one of my prime reasons for playing sc2; to battle it out in GPD.
Now that its gone, I dont feel the need to play, the need to improve. All the other tournaments available to diamond skill level generally involves losing in the first round.
I miss it
Hearthstone isnt helping my sc2 playing much either.
I feel the exact same way as you lokth. Without the GPD I don't feel motivated to play and see how much I improved by testing myself in the awesome competition.
Really who studies if they don't have an exam? I guess that's why I've been slacking off on LoL and laughing at how seriously some people take the game.
Eddie has been quite busy though and I apprecciate how many GPD's has has hosted in the past.

Some people just enjoying learning new and interesting things for the sake of it, not to be examined on it. Not necessarily the same as "study" but still
I dun mind helping if there is at least one other person to work with so that we can rotate and cover each other's back etc if needed.
I think if the GPD can take place even like every other week or just 1st and 3rd weeks of the month, would probs bring life back to the GPD level tournies. ^_^

Just like everyone else, I stopped cause I couldnt play in anything except Masters Cup and can understand not having any motivation to practice and play when you just get dominated if GPD comes back I think I might start playing some more
GPD was the most fun I've had playing SC2, even though I lost in the final 3-2 in my worst matchup in the last GPD I played in it was really fun. I like the idea of a fortnightly tournament if someone wanted to run it without much load (I'd help run it but my internet isn't reliable and I'm rarely free at night). When I played in GPD I only played every second week anyway.
