Hi guys, recently in the latest season I've been punished for my lack of play and been sent back to the Gold league. The idea I have in my head is to try and upload daily videos of a match I've played that day with some commentary or at least notes (as I'm still playing around with Adobe Premiere trying different styles).
Things I am trying to improve on are micro, scouting and opponent builds example - trying to pick up on what my opponent is doing with my scouts, so I have some idea on what to expect. . I have learnt the Terran race by watching FilterSC tutorials and focusing on my macro play and there is of course room to improve on my macro.
I've already uploaded the first 2 videos this week. One with after game commentary and one with just some basic notes I've added into the video. My goal is to climb my way back into the Platinum league and to take on board any tips and advice that are offered as I (try to) progress. I have also uploaded a host of older matches as well showing my progress towards the end of Wings of Liberty.
Thanks for your time, and please let me know anything I can change or add to my game play and or the videos them selves. I will keep updating in this blog as new videos are uploaded (hopefully daily).
well done with the vids and gl on getting back to plat. Will subscribe and share your channel.

it's not that bad mate. I like how you explain your thinking along the way. As a zerg gives me a good insight into the Terran mindset. Like everything though practice makes perfect.

My latest video is now uploaded. This match was one where I lost to a platinum zerg player. My main goal in the match was to focus on my macro and be constantly producing from my facilities. I believe I did ok in regards to keeping on track with the macro. I would love if I could get some feed back on other ways that I could approach the match up with this marine tank medivac composition and also any pointers I could take on to improving my offensive gameplay. Thank you.
Fighting for Platinum game 4 is now up. This match is Vs a silver protoss, where he hit me pretty early with some constant zealot and stalker pressure and some oracle play, forcing me to play defensive until I had enough of an army to move out. I feel I held the attacks off pretty well. Looking forward to your feedback on areas I could improve upon. There wont be any videos loaded today as I'm heading to GGF Lan in Brisbane
Hi everyone. Fighting for Platinum game #5 is now up! This is a TvZ game versing a top 8 Gold league player. In this game I decided to try a different composition and replace Tanks with Hellbats, ending with a Marine Hellbat Medivac composition. The Hellbats were able to tank a fair amount of damage from the Zerg units, and allowed the Marines to stay alive to take down any Mutas that were on the field. The execution of this build was a little sloppy as it was the first time I have tried it but it did feel pretty effective and I will definitely try it some more and try to refine it! Also, not too sure why my sound didn't record with the video, so it can get a little quiet in between the commentary sections.
