Because that is ultimately what's going to matter most to you in the long run. Stay competitive but don't lose sight of what is happening around you. This is a good reflection

Spare time?

I dun think it's about having that much spare time but Light 'making' time to practice to work harder and get better to be top of his game. Each person has the same 24 hours but how we organise our time and 'create' time to achieve a goal is a good skill to have.

I can see where you're coming from; working so hard to get up there and all and then whenever things don't go well it just gets to you really badly. :/

10 hours is a lot, and having that time frame is fine but it's best if you don't let yourself get tilted over too much before it's too late and you just lose for the rest of the day. NXZ is right about quality over quantity; it really is a good mindset to have. If you go on a bit of a losing streak, have a break and find another thing to do for a while and then when you think you are ready again to play, jump back on. Going out for some fresh air, or a jog or even out to eat is something you can do to just have a break from playing for some time.

10 hours like a boss light!
Just make sure you're keeping your fluids up and eating every 4 hours and you will be fine!
Practice away and keep a level head at all times!
I use to suffer from major rage at points and i have now learnt that i just walk away from my pc for 10 minutes and come back i'm much more focused.
