I've just recently begun streaming and haven't really caught on to an identity like some of the more regular streamers. Please help me find my own identity and streaming style.
Hence I'd like to to ask for some feedbacks and suggestions on my streaming style.
What is entertaining to you guys?
How much should I be talking? Should I be joking around or focusing on strategy?
No I will not go shirtless.
1. I second the Pikachu costume, but veto the 'call me maybe'
2. I like watching streams where the player is articulating what they are trying to do, what they see in the game and how they'll approach it. Sort of in the style of Artosis or Minigun. Though you may find it difficult to play and talk at the same time. Particularly because you are a Protoss player, I'd watch your streams if you are explaining your strategy as you are going along.
3. Joking around is good as well, I think a mixture between strategy and just interacting with your viewers is probably the best way to do it, and you often find the best streamers are able to do that.

I think youd be great just doing what you do, timing attacks and theory crafting, the kinda streamers I like are the ones that converse with the audience, you dont really need to talk all that much during engagements but giving insight in what you planning to do they a bit of a recap after (what I did right/wrong) is always good
One thing I really like about iaguz's stream is that he says "we shouldve done x" or "What we are going to do" I think the use of "we" instead of "I" really helps establish a bond with the viewer
Also try not to spend stream time trying to copy a build youve seen on gsl or something (i dunno if you do, but always find it boring when people do), why watch random Protoss X trying to perfect PartinG's latest build, I might as well watch PartinG to find out what he is doing now, not what he did last week
Anyway this is just my opinion, not sure how helpful itll be

Rays stream was ok just having the mic too close to your keyboard so whnever you talked was drowned out with KLAKKALKKLAKKLAKKLAKKLAKKLAKKLAKKLAKLKAKLAK doesn't help.
I think you fixed that though.

"Particularly because you are a Protoss player, I'd watch your streams if you are explaining your strategy as you are going along."
Also worded quite badly. What I should have written is "I'd watch your streams if you are explaining your strategy as you are going alone, particularly because you are a Protoss player"

with out being bias'd.. iaguz's stream is one of my favourite.. Because he talks thru his game plan and reactions to the opposition etc. If you aren't one to talk, have no mic sounds (klacky keyboard etc) and just play some rad tunes and that also has its merits (ala - Tim's stream).. Most of all, make sure its you and your personality shining thru the stream. glgl
