So.. I'm here to tell you a story. It all started out fairly normal.
We were just mining, when I was met by an enemy who tried to hide behind a facade of good tidings.
I shan't be fooled. I prepare for battle with my glorious spaceships to defeat the zerg scum.
He however, is not impressed. In fact, he loses his facade and starts insulting my intelligence! How dare he not recognize that I am one of the Protoss, the smartest beings in the universe.
He attempts to destroy my superior air force with primitive ground units. If only they were faster than a turtle..
I decide that it's time to expand our mineral gathering efforts. Our ships may be strong, but they are also very costly. Thus, we must defend our new expansion.
However, he surprises us! He has amassed an air force worthy of ours with biological flyings units shooting some sort of.. acid. We weren't ready for this.
Could this be the end? He was above our stargates -- there was no way to summon reinforcements to defend our efforts..
He prepares a fearsome army to attack us, however, let us regain control of our stargates in doing so - a foolish mistake.
Some of our high templar brethren have decided to help us defend our workers -- those who get the least recognition, doing the most for our army. We hold on against much superior forces thanks to the help of the high templars.
Eventually, we are able to re-build our air-force whilst we have some ground defences to thwart their efforts. Now we are able to combat the zerg scum once again!
He makes a mistake -- he attacks our Tempest fleet expecting them to be unguarded. Our brethren did not fall in vain, as our high templar and void ray pilots make short work of the zergs air force.
Now we are free to take the last base that rightfully belongs to us -- this is all we wanted, to peacefully gather minerals. However, the zerg would have no peace. He only wanted war, only wanted death..
Very well.
Four of our high templar had depleted their energy and elected to combine into the fearsome Archon. As the zerg had no ground defences, the Archons went on a rampage, harassing mineral lines and the zergs main base of operations, crippling their technology.
The zerg had no answer.
As his technology was crushed, we attacked his last bastion of defence from range with our new Tempest fleet, guarded by our templar and void ray brethren.
He was not impressed, nor was he happy.
After we had cleansed the area of his presence, we continued on our main goal - to obtain ever precious minerals from the map. He had taken a lot -- maybe too much, but we persevered.
Eventually, we caged our zerg brethren in an area -- perhaps one of his own nightmare, as he was surrounded by stargates -- the same buildings which had summoned the pilots of his demise.
We decided to let him decide his own fate, to starve to death or to progress through his own nightmare in search of freedom.
We had a very diligent probe following them, showing them the path -- not a job anyone would have liked, but we were thankful for our probe brother for fulfilling it.
The drone felt he was nearing freedom -- there was no more walls, no more constriction.. if only he knew death was around the corner.
We had succeeded. We brough victory to Aiur.
