It has been a VERY long time since I've written a blog here and (fortunately for me) a lot has happened. As some of you know, I declared a weight loss goal in early 2012. I promised myself that I would run/hop/skip until I lost a lot of 'weight'. Well, I want you guys to know that in my first attempt in around February, I was unsuccessful. In fact, after weeks of healthy eating, I relapsed and it felt like I put on more weight.
Truth is, I did. From around April-June-ish I put on weight. A lot of weight. I went from being around 90~ to being 101kg in September 2012. I have never been so heavy in my life. It was depressing and it started to affect me in all aspects of my life, rather than just my 'small hours' (aka the time I stare at my ceiling before I go to sleep).
But, something happened to me that just made me do a complete 180 (hint: it was a girl mistreating me). I just started to religiously follow a dieting plan. I joined a gym (with a friend), and I joined a dance class on top of that (Because let's face it, cardio by itself sucks).
Now, I'm happy to report that I weigh 85kg. Around 16kg of fat less than I weighed in September. I know that I'm not in a 'healthy' BMI. But people who look to that as an indicator of fitness generally don't know exactly what they're looking at anyway
Tl;dr: I achieved my FAT-loss goals in 2012/2013. I love working out/exercising (it de-stresses me) and I can eat bad food sometimes, without feeling like I've committed a sin.
Also PHOTOS: I tried to add them, but it won't let me for some reason.
Anyway, thanks for everyone who helped me.
In particular my team (who have been more than supportive), the SEAKING, Andrew Pender for his words of encouragement and of course my sponsor, Mum. Thanks, Mum.

Keep going buddy!
Doesn't matter that you're a healthy BMI, from where you were before it's amazing how much you've lost.
Chin up, chest out and press on!

Just the other day i was randomly wondering if you'd kept up your original workout goals. Glad to hear you've gotten there in the end man Hope I can emulate you
Not exactly my original goals. I've already succeeded in the original goals, which was 'weight loss'. But now I've set my sights on sub 10% body fat, and gaining more muscle mass. I think I look at Khaldor as a role model for the type of body I want to have in the next 12 months, but I need to work very hard for that. At the moment I feel like I have a LONG way to go until I get there, but the idea of exercising and achieving a goal like that gets me too excited for words.
I'm keen for ACL Brisbane! You get to see me not look like a fat weirdo

Grats man. I dunno how achievable it is to get to khaldor's state in 1 year, but you can definitely make great progress towards it. Just make sure to keep setting yourself realistic goals so you don't get discouraged along the way.
Must say I got tremendous respect for anybody that does this
Well done and keep it up ^^
If you carefully manage your diet and do alot of exercise every day then you can reach that goal easily
