I love how he was unbanned due to you guys realising that he isn't the only troll in the universe. Quality mods. Keep up the stellar detective work.

He still made a second account and his original sentence could still stick and it would be completely legitimate.

Still not sure what that has to do with me inquiring about the original assumptions of ruined being two other separate accounts. Try to keep it somewhat relevant.

AshleyCocks and RuineD had the same IP. The barcode was a troll however it was the next user number up and it is possible to reset an IP so it was suspicious.

He was never questioned with respect to FRUSTADED and RUINED2012 as they were obviously troll accounts however general community members were assuming it was RuineD which is not fair thus I made this post to verify to the community what was his fault and what was not so that he was not blamed for stuff which he was not responsible for.

I am not commenting on this point any further, I've said what I've had to say.

Mods do not find banning people enjoyable or dealing with the resulting drama that always comes from it like the angry essays, multiple accounts and posts such as the above. But do so to help maintain order and prevent the forum into turning into a cesspool environment which would deter our other forum users. Bans and infractions here are very infrequent in the first place but a line has to be drawn somewhere. If you can't deal with that simply leave the site and go back to the bnet forums where moderation is absent. Poor behaviour must be discouraged or you end up with a reddit/battle.net envrionment and it spoils everyone else's reading experience and the pleasant vibe of our small tight knit community.

I'm not a fan of either Frustration or Ruined and I think both of them contribute negatively to the site but what Ruined was doing to Frustration was clearly wrong. We wanted to set a precedent that making accounts of people you do not like with their real names and personally attacking / harassing them is an unacceptable behaviour here. In the event there was an error in judgement amendments will be made just take it up across the proper channels. Like what RuineD did to clarify his situation - he only made one fake account not the three (that was made to look like him) so his temp ban was reduced to an infraction. Its all common sense people!
