So yesterday I played like a 1 hour+ vs on NA ladder, which resulted in a RIDICULOUS comeback. Early in the game, I decided to make 1 Immortal whilst waiting for my Robotics Bay to complete.
Over an hour later, that ONE Immortal is STILL alive. He went on to quite literally survive the duration of the entire game.
Skip to the 2h 12m mark if you wanna check out the Immortal.
The actual game starts at 1h 34m if you want to sit through the entire game. It's about as extreme as comebacks go, with me bouncing back 1 base vs 7 to secure the win against waves upon waves of Brood Lords, Infestors & Ultralisks.
If you enjoyed that game, I had a similarly epic vs later in the day whereby my Nexus-first was countered by a double Bunker Marauder rush. You can skip to the 2h 50m mark if you wanna see the game.
Both of these games include "commentary" as well, which is essentially me vocally justifying my stupid decisions and constantly swearing & freaking out about how dead I am.
Will give this a look though, love the epic games that make SC2 fun .
Hahaha, not gonna lie, that voice popped into my head when I was writing the title.
IMMMMMMMORTAAAAALLLLLLLLLL
It's kinda funny, it was literally the only unit I produced in the entire game that lasted longer than like 15 minutes. Even all my Probes died. Lone survivor!
Only caught the tail end of the first game last night, was funny to go back and see what lead up to that point. The second game I didn't think was as exciting but I think the openings were educational.
Yeah the second game was nowhere near as epic, but the fact that I managed to patiently save the Nexus at the last possible moment and make such a strong comeback (despite my numerous mistakes and 1-1 upgrades vs 3-3) felt really good! Some of the feedbacks were pretty damn clutch.
Once the first bunker got up, I'd pretty much accepted that the game was over. After I saw the second one, I was asking myself why I was even still in the game. Love it when games turn around like that, even if I didn't technically deserve to win it after playing so badly.
