Now, Im sorry to disappoint some of you, but I don't really want to analyse my games for the community. Why? Im lazy as heck, and it actually takes a surprising amount of time to:
1. Find good replays
2. Go through them, screenshotting as you go
3. Resize the images and put them on an image hosting website
4. Write up a GOOD summary of each game
5. Repeat until you're gosu
So mad props to crAzerk for being a beast in that regard.
But then I asked myself, well what else could I possibly blog about, relating to starcraft 2? I still want to blog about my ladder games, but maybe I won't go as in-depth with them, and more generally talk about problems in my gameplay I've found and how I look to solve them. On top of that, I might just talk about random events and in-clan stuff. Talking about in-clan stuff...
Part 1 - In-Clan Stuff
I wake up one morning and smell the fresh air wafting through my open window. As I drift downstairs, I reminisce about the clan war we had last night, where we completely stomped some clan called... It seems like every time we beat a clan, the victory seems so much less important, as well as the name of the clan. Funny that. I stroll casually up to my computer, turn it on, log into SC2 and begin another sunday of practice in a clan which some say rivals that of the gods (Yes, I mean SlayerS).
This clan...
Is called...
Time of Rising...
Unfortunately, I realise the practice I was logging on for was just another day of laddering. I raise my fists into the air in frustration and scream, "WHY DO I HAVE ONLY ONE PRACTICE PARTNER???". I realise this pain could go on no longer.
I give in, and join a clan that many of you may know.
Some say it rivals that of the gods (Possibly even ToR).
It is called...
Team H...
I get into a pretty good position with the guys who set it up pretty quickly, they seem to be nice guys. They hit a level of play which there isn't a huge amount of clans for, and as a result, 42 members within two days of the clan being open. It wasn't long before many master level players came strolling along, wanting a taste of the ownage candy...
But still, I felt that the tase of the ownage candy was bitter-sweet. I yet again raised my fists into the air and screamed, "WHY DON'T I HAVE ANY GOSU PLAYERS TO TRAIN WITH???". Yet again, I recieved strange looks by my dog, and yet again, I chose to leave the clan, as I had been invited (Semi-invited, still needed to be trialled) elsewhere,
By a player known only as DemisodaSPR...
This clan...
Is pretty damn obvious because of the tag on the end of Demisoda's username...
Some say that it rivals that of the Gods...
Perhaps even Time of Rising...
I joined clan SPR, after much drama concerning my username. I proceeded to be beaten by Demisoda about 20 times in ZvZ, get owned by Sungin and Soonghee and barely beat Sooie. They are actually really nice people, forgetting that are the daily cause of nerd tears. I was told before I even considered joining SPR that only koreans were allowed in. It was only when Demisoda talked to me that I realised how dreadfully wrong that was, and how much better I could become through joining SPR. After all, they have a lot of grandmaster players... Please consult their ladder rankings (Which im currently the highest masters player on ;D)
Anyways, after being owned by the vast majority of them, I proceeded to raise my fists into the air one more time, and scream "WHY DIDNT I REALISE I SUCK THIS BAD???"
Which led to me wanting to fix the more major of my mistakes, which is why you're reading this.
Although, ironically, this hasn't yet helped me fix anything apart from my willingness to show my uh... willingness to clan-hop. Oh, what do'ya know? Its time for me to sleep. Did I mention Im lazy when it comes to writing blogs? Well, I guess I can't be lazy next time, due to the width of the topic that is known only as ZvZ.
Next episode: The ZvZ Gauntlet
also known as
Part 2 - Welcome to Hell
Please tell me if you're actually interested in this different format kind of ladder/training blog ^_^
Well i'm with you on the fact that being in ToR, we rarely have practise partners especially for those in the higher divisions... sad to see you leave us but all the best in SPR! and hope you won't mind if I hook you up for games sometime =)

Well.... that was real funny, but I don't think the topic suits it, but there's a question mark so ok... You just need to elaborate more and add stuff that make us wanna keep reading! (don't ask me what)

Yeah, it'll be based on gameplay and concepts in the future, not why Im doing this.

I might review a game occasionally, talk about concepts to do with certain matchups, what I like or don't like, or anything else that seems important to do with my gameplay at the time.
So basically, a loose structure of crAzerk's road to masters series, except in an attempt to get to GM. If I DO get to GM (Which I suspect I might shortly after season 3 begins), then I might just change the name of the series and keep doing it.
im going to crush you when in S3 when i get a new acc... got hacked again god dammit. looks like i'm going to have to use an authenticator this time. rofl
