taht sons of starcraft thing gave me chills hard, you actually realise how much some people love this game and and it reminds you why you love it so much aswell. The evidence is simply looking at people like artosis and tasteless and being inspired at what lengths they have gone to to achieve things in starcraft and follow their dreams

I wish you had asked before posting this Ryan, I've just come off a 14 hour shift cleaning caravans and am just grumpy in general, this rambling by me doesn't mean anything. I took a month off to enjoy summer and friends and family who are back in town, I'm playing some LoL on the side and will probably continue too through the year. I still enjoy sc2 BUT its one of those games that sometimes i just want to bitch about BECAUSE ITS ******* HARD. Sure my passion isn't what it used to be but thats also because of situations like the fact my laptop is starting to shut down so can't play it 24/7 as have to use brothers computer. Also players like Whiteluxary/OnsDotaKing and his other 3 smurfs who map hack obviously really take the joy out of playing one of the best games ever invented. The passion is still there i still find myself before bed just seeing players like mafia or delete streaming and being like those guys play some good intelligent play i wonder if i can learn anything from watching them. I don't think if i was burnt out passion wise i could do that. But in saying that i was getting close to burning out with ASL screwing me in exam week hard and my marks suffering for it. I really needed some time out. im gona stop ranting now as im rambling, laters lad im not going anywhere

Dont worry stallion, the message wasn't about you, I kept your stuff in cause I didn't want to rewrite it and I understand your position. However, the crap I spewed out wasn't just for you but it was for everyone. It's because we love starcraft.

I love starcraft because no other game consistently makes me learn, every time i play i discover something new. I understand how to counter something and i discover one more of my millions faults and every time. No matter, throughout loss and win i see improvement and its amazing feeling

Gaming and learning nothing else compares.

The crazy is good but we play macro in sc2 as well. It's not just because we want to win, it's the culmination of all the effort you put in, the hard work, the learning that winning rewards you with. But like I said a little crazy now and then doesn't hurt.
