IEM Singapore was fantastic, a huge learning curve and i got to watch and bring some amazing games played by amazing players. This was the first Major tournament i have observed with non Australian Progamers, so it was a huge step to test my abilities while observing.
I only got to spend 4 days in Singapore, and would love to go back soon, from what i saw it was amazing, Clean, Easy to get around, tasty food and friendly people. Got to meet some of the big names in eSports, and the local Singaporeans. I'm sorry i didn't really get much of a chance to go out or meet everyone who lives in Singapore due to time constraints but i really want to visit again soon and explore the city more. 90% of my time was at the venue and the Airport.
I'm very greatful to have gotten this opportunity, and want to thank the people who helped me get picked to be the first IEM observer. I hope i get picked again, but living in Australia is quite a burden.
I will always look for ways to improve my silent casting, even looking back on IEM & watching the lastest tournaments there were some things i can improve on and things i will take into consideration for the next time i am asked to observe.
So Here's some pics.... coz you know, text is shit and pics are cool.
I read that as 'tasty people'. Nomnomnom. Wonder what happens to you if you take a durian?
Would like to get to Singapore sometime!
Ppl start covering their nose with their hands(Like that helps) and give you a ''Wtf is wrong with you'' look. Custom officers might confiscate your beloved fruit and then come out of their office licking their fingers.
