WALL OF TEXT INCOMING, AND NO THERE ARE NOT ANY PICTURES!

With everyone blogging I thought I might join in to. Not only that but with the lack of time to sit in the chat box I feel like I am losing touch with all my SEA friends, so never fear I will get all my thoughts out for the week for a discussion that we could have had in the chat box but couldn’t!

Casting Is Awesome Fun!!!
So I read Infeza’s blog about observing and agree 100% with this, and thought to myself “why don’t casters in SEA apply this as well”. In all honesty I get turned off when I tune into a stream and I hear incoherent mumbling or just a boring stream. Obviously we all cast to have fun it seems we have so many people that don’t really seem like they are having fun with it, moreover it ruins the viewing experience for us people who want to watch.
As a caster its our jobs to make the games awesome no matter how crap or boring or lacklustre they are, so enjoy every minute of it . In SEA I think both Baldie and Zain have this down awesomely, Baldie just does an amazing job of looking sexy on stream and being professional whilst Zain has that chiselled face and speaks his mind which is always entertaining! In all honesty I still think I have a ways to go and have taken ideas from these two blokes.

Work Sucks Balls
Which leads me to whine about everyday life. For those who don’t know, I work split shifts during the week, starting 4:30am every morning and finishing of the night at about 6-7pm. Yes this sucks balls, however it does leave my day open for the two prime casting times, for both America and Oceania. If you think I haven’t prepared enough or I am too tired or have another reason for me sucking, look into that. It is hard to cast with minimal sleep on caffeine, but it’s worth it!

Everyone is “Killing” eSports
All I ever hear around the place is about how what someone has done is killing eSports.... nine out of ten times its taken way out of context and we all suffer because of it. If your not involved dont get involved, let the higher ups sort it out and if they statement afterwards doesn’t satisfy you THEN complain. Seriously, if I see one more person say someone is killing eSports I will shoot them the saying is old and in all honesty the reason people that run things do is because they can handle them selves!

Laddering is Hilarious When You Douche Around!
I don’t think I have used a build order in months, and it is making SC2 so much more enjoyable!!! You may ask why, but it allows me to push every idea out of my mind to understand how each race works on a personal level. Having someone tell you a timing is one thing, but carrying that attack out, and/or defending it makes it so much more understandable as a caster and I believe will help in the long run .

Goal Setting >.<
As for goals, it’s a difficult thing for me. Up until WCS Oceania I was a bit down struggling to keep myself motivated to do things, with such great casters coming up I just started feeling like I was fighting a losing battle and people were ignoring me as a caster. I will say a BIG thanks though to Dippa, Mike and his girlfriend (From New Zealand) and the group of guys that I hung out with on the Sunday night (Sorry I cant remember names I was quite drunk) for bringing my spirits back up and re-motivating me! And a big thanks to PiG for lifting my spirits as well and telling me I have it in me to make GM
Therefore as a StarCraft 2 player and lover I really want to become an Analytical caster and as a result I want to either cast or play at the next WCS as a MAIN player, not just some random on for a few games. To that end I restarted my weekly series but with a focus on analysis and I am hoping for a lot of feedback!

Would like to do a section dedicated to those people who have done so much for me emotionally and have helped me along my path, it will be quite long as it’s my first time writing this

• Baldie for being downright awesome when it comes to stream production quality, and yes im following his ideas because they are that awesome!
• Zain for using the word “Bumhole” on stream, yes I shook my head, yes it was hilarious and yes I turned the stream off for a second :P
• Eddie and Nirvana for giving me so many opportunities to cast on SC2SEA and forgiving me whilst I had my many months of technical issues, yes they are all fixed
• My Girlfriend CarmiieBear, and yes thats her onling tag haha for supporting me when I play and cast, she always watches me
• PiG, tgun and Edge for being the awesome players of SEA that have awesome personalities and I look up to, as well as BigBird, cause he looks sexy in aviators.
• Petraeus for beating everyone’s expectations and playing so well. GL in Tokyo man!!!
• Nemesis for always being there to talk to and have fun with, I miss our games with the gang

If I missed you out I apologise but I will write a weekly blog methinks with recaps and ideas so I can stay in touch with all you sexy SEAlabians. I think I might take hold of that word for us
