I am in need of help with post-editing in photography.
I never liked the idea of messing around with photos because I thought it would ruin the whole concept of "capture the moment", but I surfed around the net to look at edited photos and I thought I want to give it a try.
I've been playing around with Photoshop for few years for school so I know the basics, but I was wondering if anyone could give me tips, or good website with good tutorials.
Also, I'll be snapping shots at MLG Dallas originally for Nv, and I also got in contact with Quantic to work with them as well.
If anyone is a photography expert, I have few questions. At the last event I went to, WCG2011 in Korea, I took all my photos with manual settings to practice with shutter speed, aperture, ISO and all that. But recently, I've gotten lazy and started using the automatic functions.
Question is, at an event like MLG, should I be taking a little bit extra time to use manual settings, or use automatic settings and edit it later with Photoshop? I often find that I miss opportunities when I take my time with Manual
And also, if anyone can provide me with photos of players at past events so I could practice editing on them, that'd be great
Here's a photo I took and played around with today. I tried to make it more "Evil Genius-ey"
