Mild frustration last night when I re-installed Windows, and even though the hard drive with Steam on it is seperate and all my games is completely untouched I lost my save. Goodbye level 50 Pyromancer

Starting again ...

Didn't realise until I got it that the Dark Wood Grain Ring had been nerfed pretty heavily, spent a LOT of time getting that bad boy.

I echo iaguz's feelings towards Dark Souls, it's a must play for any action RPG fan that enjoys a really weird and dark world, no hand holding and one hell of a ******* challenge.

I really want to...but no time. I've heard a tonne of good stuff about it, no one has really said a thing bad about it.

I wonder if there are differences between ps3 and pc versions, someone said that pc version has a lot bugs...dont know which one I should get.

@Daboo everything I've heard is pc version is pretty stable, if you have a decent machine it's a better option than console cause you don't get as many frame rate drops. But make sure to find the resolution fix mod otherwise it's gonna look all pixely

Also in addition to the mod (which is a must get) I would suggest using a hand controller

Feels a lot nicer than keyboard and mouse, the mouse is very jerky for some reason.

the port of this game is complete and utter crap.
it seems they didn't really care about the PC port and put very little effort into it.
Using the mouse is near impossible and using 'ijkl' to move is just retarded.
The in game instructions are not even changed for a keyboard.

good game but absolutely disgraceful controls on the port for PC
