Ok so, here comes my experiences from MLG columbus!

First up, i left brisbane on teusday afternoon my flight was delayed to sydney which was a bitch, but once i got there i met up with tgun played a few games at intime, then headed back to his place to sleep/get ready for the 33 hours of travel WOO!

Oh i also got the new pokemon game to pass the time.

So on the morning we were about to leave, i find out my laptop's windows decided to die and i have to reinstall it, no worries tho ill do it in columbus. So we head to the airport. 3 hours early and waited around, had an awesome breakfast where i decided to spill m y hot chocolate

Our plane finally boards and the pilot was pretty damned funny, talking shit etc while we were taxi'ing for the 15 hour flight to LA!

Luckily Delta had like 200 movies tv shows etc etc to keep us entertained, also got unlimited drinks/food so it went by alot quicker than i expected.

you always see these customs shows where it takes hours to get through etc, well it took me and tgun all of 5 minutes max to get through customs int he US, LOL..... but then we had 4 hours to wait until our next flight, where the guy sitting next to me WOULDNT SHUT THE **** UP. then another 4 hour wait and a final flight to columbus!

So we get to columbus jump in the cab where the taxi rank guy noticed our shirts and was like hells yea MLG! ill see you guys there lol.

So we get to the Holiday inn where we were staying, i call josh's room (FXOboss) and i hear a "yeaaaaaaaaaaaa whaaaat" obviiously asleep lol. he comes down gets us up to the room we were in, and optikzero stumbles our of his room half asleep haha. so we are sitting in the room talking about the flight when qxc and sheth come back from dinner and im sitting down, sheth walks in goes HEY DAN!!! with a massive smile on his face, and im like god... i need to get up and shake his hand,..... i get up with all the energy i have left shake his hand and fall back to the ground. Luckily for us the rooms were interconnected with doors, so qxc comes bursting through that door and we chat for a while until we sleep. since we have 1 day before MLG starts we will see what happens!

So its now thursday morning at 8am and josh comes in and wakes us all up for breakfast. our first breakfast for the week, we are still missing moonan and anthony but they dont arrive until later that night/early mroning the next day.

Breakfast was awesome, i had a full american breakfast which was toast sausage and scrambled eggs with some orange juice, we all talk shit and eat, its awesome because everyone felt to comfortable even though it was the first time alot of us had met.

We head back up to the rooms and look online for something to do, a lan cafe, movies or something. turns out columbus HAS NOTHING TO DO. no lan cafe not even a grocerie store, but i will get to that later. so i fix my laptop qxc has his and the guys take turns at laddering getting ready for MLG.

We figure we need to go for a walk and we head off in search of lunch/somethiing to do. and find a subway for lunch. since most of my bathroom stuff was confiscated at the airport (shaving cream hair gel toothpaste deoderant BUT NOT MY RAZERS) we searched for a convenience store.

Slog walks up to someone and says " excuse me sir, do you know where a deli is close buy, you know, a place where we can get some soap"

it takes a second for us to realise what he said before we call start laughing uncontrolably with slog sitting tehre going "wat"

we eventually find a CVS which is like a small convenience or corner store and head back to the apartment for more games.

Its getting late in the afternoon and we decide to pick up moonan from the airport we head there and it turns out the other koreans are afrriving same time, same for LZgamer. we see EG standing there looking pretty and we go say hi. we all introduce ourselves and josh goes to idra, "so MC is coming now what do you think?" "im going to lose" comes out of idra's mouth lol we talk amongst ourselves then all our friends arrive and we head home, not before we see DDE sitting on a bench near the taxi rank since he doesnt know where hes going LOL.

We get back and every1 gives moonan a hug! and set off for dinner, we decide on i think it was "lattitude 41" which was located on "gay street" :/ we head there and have our first true team dinner, josh explains alot of the behind the scenes FXO stuff which got all the boys pumped for the months to come, we discuss GSTL, korea everything and the food is awesome.

Something i noticed is in AUS we dont tip, and service is horrible, in the USA service is amazing but they tip and tbh i like the USA way much better!

So we settle in for the night just chilling and get a good nights sleep for MLG.

Friday morning arrives and we head to breakfast, everyone is really pumped for MLG and we eat get ready and head off to the convention centre, its 11am when registration happens and i get my media pass (since they dont have manager/coach passes) and sheth and moonan get their VIP passes since they are top 16. then apparently there were death threats to sundance (CEO of MLG) about the stream so every single person was being searched as they entered DUMBEST THING EVER.

so we look and are like **** no we are not standing in that line for 4 hours, we go and sit off to the side and ESFI reporters come up and wanted to do interviews with us. so we get as many as we can done, and then we look back and turns out MLG gave up on searching everything, we head in and try and get some pc's to prac on, then the event finally starts and open bracket play/pool play started, i watched idra vs MC then turned my attention to our boys. everyone played really well, everyone was still in the bracket for the first day, QXC went 1-2 against thorzain in a nailbiter finish at 3am which was his last match for the day. I also walked around watched some cod/halo etc but OMG they needed more chairs, some great games, talked to alot of people, mostly stayed int he playing area and watched people play, sheth also went 3-0 that day in group play and was very happy, moonan went 1-2 in all his matches.

this is something i will rbing up. MOONAN DOES NOT PRACTICE. and he goes 1-2 with sjow select he lost 0-2 to MMA but holy shit were they close games, WATCH this kid after he comes out of a motnh in korea with day long practice i swear to god he will be unstoppable.

Tgun took out sixjax mihai who came top 32 last MLG at dallas.

its 3am so we all headed backin a cab, qxc who was obviously pissed walked home to clear his head. that kid is more passionate abotu sc2 that anyone else i have seen, i cannot wait to see what he does in korea.

to TBC as i need a break from writing this but day 2,3,4 and trip home stories to come! but i only have 2 days to get it done since on sunday im GOINGGGGGGGGG TOOOO KOREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
