Hello to you all! I decided to do a lil hype for ACL Melbourne WHICH IS FREAKING TOMORROW IF YOU HAVE BEEN LIVING UNDER A ROCK! Hooooolllyyy shit I can't wait for this. After Sydney all I could think about was practicing and seeing everyone again for what are some extremely fun weekends! As you might have seen groups were drawn on Wednesday and they look a Lil something like this:
Group A: Edge, Tgun, Glade.
Group B: Mafia, Pox, Light, Dippa.
Group C: Rossi, Techtron, Targa, Yoon, Bigbird.
Group D: Ninja, Pig, Iaguz, Deth.
Soooo down to my nitty gritty predictions!!

Group A we're goin to see Tgun Beat glade, glade beat edge, edge beat tgun, and then myself beat them all when i go storming into that group

Group B: Mafia and light should advance, but watch out for Pox hes a good up and coming player and his name rhymes with a favorite body part of mine!

Group C: A group which might actually yield 2 terrans coming out as opposed to 2 zergs, but watch out for ma boy techtron who has some amazing zvt. Depending How much Rossi and Yoon have been practicing will determine who else beats who, But I wouldnt be surprised to see Techtron and Targa advance.

Group D: Unfortunately for the state of ZvT right now and how much Ninja has been demolishing nerds recently I have to go with Pig and Ninja from this group, but please surprise me!

With that out of the way I hope no one hates me, CAUZ HOLY SHIT AM I EXCITED TO SEE EVERYONE, and for once in my home state of Melbourne which means I don't have to deal with crappy flights (e.a.d Tgun and minimat ) and being tired.

Despite this I'm still rather bummed that I have to play in the open bracket after coming so close, TWICE, to qualify for Groups, alas thats the way the cookie crumbles and barring any retarded shenanigans or being a zerg prone to cheese I think I should be ok to make it into groups but only time will tell!

Since I have nothing more to write about and this didnt fill nearly as much time at work as what I thought it would I suppose I'll call how the rest of the tournament will go.

So, After all us nerds advance from groups we'll have 7 zergs and one Light in the top 8. Assuming top 8 doesn't start at 11 pm again we might actually see some games that dont involve targa banes, so people will actually use some cool zvz starts hopefully. This will lead to Mafia, Glade, Pig and Ninja being top 4 and one of those eventually taking it depending on who beats who in the semi finals. As a lil side note a very small part of me thats not my penis does sort of hope glade doesnt win, AGAIN. This is not anything personal as hes a really nice awesome dude but more for the excitement of the SEA scene. It'd be nice for SEA not to be seen as "glade and then everyone else", and perhaps if other foreigners notice someone else wins it'd be good to see. That being said glade is such a badass when it comes to the crunch of producing results under pressure in these types of huge tournaments that has made him THE player to beat in any SEA tournament, so it will be very interesting to see what happens!!

Finally, Good luck to everyone playing in the GESC, it kinda sucks these had to overlap on the same weekend but thats e-sports. It certainly will be interesting to see who keeps momentum and who gets tired out from how they perform at this event and brings that to ACL on sunday.
