Hello everyone, I finally got rid of ladder anxiety thanks to a ton of tips and today I´m just going to get them all together for the people who still have it or to some people who have problems to gain more skill level.

Please keep in mind that this wont help higher leagues since most of them already got passed this.

Its been a while since I was able to totally own players. But infact I coudnt get past on ladder. That was in part because of the anxiety and because I would do stuff that I woudnt normaly do. Like for example all-ins I havent even practiced.

So here I´m going to put the basic tips that helped me a lot to really understand what I was doing wrong.

- Stick to your game plan, always open the same way untill you can get it perfect, once you already know what to do you will no longer have ladder anxiety.

- You have to rest a lot , eat healthy and run / do pushups. (PiG)

- Remember its just a game.

- If you wanna be top in your division you have to lose sometimes. If your on a lose streak, take a shower, calm down and keep on playing.

- Try focusing on macro/safe builds. ALL-INs Or cheeses is like throwing a dice, you never know if you can win or lose. (And trust me, losing to a player you should´ve won just because you cheesed its kinda sad)

- Be confident, but not overconfident , never say you already won because you dont know what will happen.

- Dont try fancy stuff you see on GSL, just stick to the normal and standard build-orders. As its almost impossible you can do all that stuff with your current skill level.

- Scout a lot, if you know what he´s doing you will calm down.

- If you lose, watch the replay, then keep on playing.

- Don´t hesitate to ask for help on forums. ( SC2SEA(l) )

So now I´m going to tell you guys the way I practice, and I actually learn a lot from every single game.
My opening is the exact same, I have 3 openings and I use one for each matchup. Since I´ve practice those openings so many times I already know all my timmings and how to stop everything the enemy can throw at me.
I try to practice the following things (Very basic stuff btw, just trying to get it perfect).
- Avoid getting supplyblocked
- Inject larva (This can also be chronobusts and mules)
- Production
- Map control.

And I dedicate a FULL LADDER DAY to each.

If your mechanics are good you can get to or even . So thats what you need to practice the most.

If I lose a game, I TRY NOT TO RAGE AT MY OPPONENT. (Infact I just GG or quit right away)
go and watch the replay, I see on what I failed and make SMALL changes in my play to be able to stop that sort of stuff in a future.
Keep in mind that if make big changes to your play it will take some time for you to adjust yourself to those changes and it may lead to a big lose streak. Try to make changes as small as possible.

Well guys, this is it, I hope this actually helped someone (Atleast from ) and thanks for reading

Great post! Essentially how I view practicing on ladder as well; and with regards to no cheesing/all-inning, I think that there's no real point to cheese when in fact, you can lose to a superior player and take the lesson on-board. Cheesing is, essentially, counter-productive to learning; so unless you know the game inside and out (Mid-high masters on KR) cheese is pointless. All-ins are a bit different, as long as the all-in is done intelligently, with a clear thought process, and you've seen the opportunity, then go for it.

Well yeah, you actually need to know how to macro and all-in to win a tournament , or thats atleast what I see from most of the pro gamers. All-ins are completly fine if you do it at the right time and not all ining every single game, because then it becomes like cheesing.
Anyway thanks for reading and commenting !
