Lately I havent played SC2 that much, infact I havent done anything AT ALL. Time passes and im not studying (Im currently on on of the last highschool years) I´m not getting any practice and I totally cutted sports out of my list. I also have tons of problems to sleep at night.
I dont really know how to get the motivation enough to organize and I dont even know how to organize my self.
I feel really tierd the whole day, cant really play more than 40% which its just sad. At night I cant sleep but I´m really tierd to play or study. I´m to tierd to do sports or to actually go out. I´ve actually learnt a lot of sc2 but my performance sucks. How can I fix this? Is there anyway i can get in track with my studies + sc2 and adding sports on the mix? I feel really bad like this and I really want to change!
Feedback is accepted so please
Sounds like you have a lot of pressure on you to perform well in your studies. Is this true? If so, why do you feel stressed to perform so highly at school?
Prioritize too. You'll find if you prioritize and set goals for school/sport/even sleep etc. over sc2, you'll feel better about what you're doing and get everything back together. Not practicing sc2 for that extra hour and instead sleeping/studying is sometimes the right choice, even if you don't want to. You'll be able to sleep easier too. ^_^

Hi, Wow thanks for the fast response.
I´m not forced to get high grades but I´m forced to pass this year (My grades are awful). If i dont pass it ill get kicked from school and wont be able to get graduated untill 2 years later which is pretty sad. In the other hand im just too tierd for starcraft which its my hobby.
I'll probably try studying as fast as i get from school just so i dont forget and start BMXing probably. Ill try to keep up at sc2 when I can, thats all i can do for now
thanks for helping & supporting
Pinders advice I think really makes a point mate. I have noticed get these two aspects into balance and things generally drop back into place. Destress find an outlet and it should really help you in the long run.
I've been in the same boat as you before, don't worry there's hope!
Few things you need to do are goals, exercise and being active.
What i did to help with depression and lack of motivation was set a goal. when i was at uni, the ultimate goal is to achieve a degree, but its so far away you might think that study now isn't worth it, but it is, you just don't see it.
Things i did were stop playing PC at about 11pm, and read a book, so much better than watching TV or anything else, reading actually is the most effective thing to put me to sleep.
Eat well and be active, all the time i would eat bad foods, when i wanted and whatever was available. Don't do this! Set breakfast lunch and dinner. and don't snack unless you have too.
Another thing i did was throw away my keys. I'd drive everywhere and it made me really lazy, walking to places or i got myself a penny skateboard and now i skate to places like to grab dinner from the shops or go to work instead and by the end of the day you'll want to sleep.
Your goals are the main motivation, and a goal i wanted to set for myself was to move out and start paying weekly rent, so i'd have an excuse to go to work because i'd actually have to pay for something im contractually bound, or it'd bite me in the ass. So far, it's working really well, hope it goes well for you too.
Also you might want to see a psychiatrist if you think you have depression. Definitely worth your mental health !
I would say try to NOT concentrate on the things you actually want to concentrate on. Seems weird but try this: Concentrate on getting up each day at a good time. Have the same good breakfast each and everyday regardless of whether you want to or not. If you are feeling unmotivated of a morning, then do some exercise before breakfast. Even just a lap around the block. Doesn't have to be something hard. Just to get the blood and hormones pumping. After the exercise, breakfast and shower. You should feel a little more motivated to do what needs to be done. If after school you are feeling pretty crap again, do the same thing, then get stuck into what you need to do. The blood flow and hormones from exercise are amazing things and will increase your productivity, guarenteed. You might find because you are concentrating on the exercise and foods etc, and the rest of the day is just in the way of getting back to them, that they become less onerous. There's no quick fix for down times, I think it's all about mindset.
