Hello everyone I am lolwut! And as most of you know I have been / for about A year now. But now, The time has come, for me to finally get off my ass and start laddering. So I will be posting a blog about my ladder adventures into masters and beyond!.

This series will start today.

Game 1 of ladder.

Spawning ZvZ on Cloud Kingdom. I am reasonably happy with my ZvZ as I have decent micro and can read the game pretty well. I open up my standard 14 gas and 14 pool. My opponent 12pools me.

My reaction to the 12pool. And our conversation.

Thankfully his 12pool doesn't do anything to my economy. After that I get my 2nd and go for some bane pressure. He still hasn't expanded yet. Too busy teching banes and putting a spine down in his base for the fear he will die to mass lings. I do a failed bane attack on his main but by now it's like 21 drones to 13 and he STILL hasn't expanded. I pull back and tech roach while making a horde of banes in my main for that incomeing assault I know thats coming.

He then pulls back and morphs his lings into banes and reinforces. He still hasn't expanded yet so this is allin. I build a coupla spines and manage to fend it off. GG .




Next game is zerg vs protoss.

He forge FE's so I take a quick 3rd in response. He then plants a proxy pylon by my 3rd which I don't see. (DO'H!) and manages to take it out with 12 zealots. I rebuild my 3rd and we play a looong macro game. I tech up to broodlords/roach/festor and he goes for the typical coll/archon/zeal/stalker Deathball. First engagement goes quite back for me but I manage to kill about half his army
.
Next engagement I have with ultra/ling but I still isn't enough to kill his deathball. He ends up marching in to my base and just destroying it. A last ditch effort of broods delay him a bit but in the end it swings in his favour.

End of day 1. 1 win 1 loss.

scout for proxy pylons better .
