Clan aLt is based in SG, and pretty good mannered from what I know, one of the best clans around.
Then again you probably need to go win a CO first...

I NEVER WON A CO! But I am damn smexy soo....

Anyways really happy to see another up-and-coming terran. I ask that you don't become like the rest (of the maybe 200th-50th gm ranked terrans) and just 1-base cheese or do ridiculous greedy builds every game and try to steadily improve so we can have more then 6 terrans that know what a 3rd CC is! Far too many zergs with under-developed zvt on this server because of a lack of terran practice!

Heh, I never fall into the loophole of having only cheesy builds 1-2 bases because playing to win only gets you that far. Learn that few builds and you realise if you don't use them, your win/loss ratio begins dropping and if you're playing to win you will fall back to the builds that brings you wins (those cheeses).

That's not to say that I don't know how to cheese

I've pulled them off on unsuspecting opponents before and it's quite sad to see them leave without a GG. I do say GG even if I get cheesed the hell to death because cheese is still part of the game

Agree with system about those 1 base protoss! Almost figured out most of their names

Then again! I'm probably not gonna win COs anytime soon because I stay in and I'm either too tired on a wednesday night (awake since about 6) to play properly or can't even attend COs :P

Thus, if I eventually get to join aLt, it'll probably have to be through aLternative methods

Grats MrFool!! Really like your attitude towards improvement, its also so much easier to vent/whine instead of looking at it constructively like you do. Played masters cup for the first time ever 2 days ago and ended up losing to you in the second round! Was impressed and at the same time really happy when i found out you were from Singapore, SG always needs more good Terrans!!!!! Such a shame you're in NS tho!

Yea this is one of the harsh realities of life.

Its hard to get a very good job without showing personality & good grades/track record
Its hard to get girls without being a attractive person yourself (in terms of character and capability)
Its hard to be well liked if are always raging, pissing people off and making them unhappy.

But if you're good in all these areas it becomes a walk in the park and companies seek out and approach you, girls start liking you first and you become everyones best friend (aka shortizz lol!).

You have to put in the effort to become desirable - most people are lazy or don't know how so when you have got it people naturally value you more so be proud yea its gay double standards but thats life. And you've made it in the SC2 world already! Now for your next goal of best Terran in SEA lol and more doors will open!

Yea sensei! Those 2 weeks were really demoralising for me.. It made me go on a long hiatus from the game

I felt really lousy ahahaha! Surprising you even remember playing with me:x

Yeah nirvana! I was totally expecting to lose in my first round ( like every other tournament

) and winning the first round gave me a confidence boost! I was quite sure I was going to lose to you and told myself to just play as well as I can! Lose = I lose nothing but if I win = awesome! Took down another big name! Even though it's probably luck:P I still have a lot a lot a lot to improve to even scratch near best

in SEA! YYJ's like thousand years away

but I'll still try my best to do it before the end of my NS ahah!

Ah well.. Can't wait to book out on thursday to play some SC II! No tournaments to join this week though!

And yeah Team Eve have some awesome players who i think are all around ur age iirc. We definitely need more good SG players!

I really agree with you on SC2 in singapore btw, Its one of the best yet least played game here. Most of the lanshops dont even have SC2 cos its too expensive so u can imagine how the 100 price tag will shun kids away =/. Its a pity how little promotions they did for a market with so much potential!
