Hey guys Ice here, has been another big month in the sc2 scene we have had 4 major qualifiers and another ANZ cup. The qualifiers were 2 IEM Shanghai, a Dreamhack Valencia and WCS Montreal was the last.
One major goal i set myself at the start of the year was to make a top 16 in a WCS qualifier. I wasn't able to make this goal happen. People who know me know I'm goal orientated and not making this goal was a real low point. I got close in season 2 and thought with the right prep i could give it a good shake in season 3. However my preparation leading up to the events were poor and i got what i deserved. Im aware at how lofty this goal was and a lot of people wouldn't have expected me to get there but i felt i could have if i didn't let myself down.
The other 2 goals for the year are to Win an OSC tournament and to crack GM for the first time. Again both are quite lofty but i think i can hit at least one of the two. The other 3 qualifiers were quite similar to my WCS qualifiers pre much straight out. Again this saddens me i would at least like to take a series or two in a qualifier but on this occasion i wasn't able to.

Still in the world of sc2. The team im apart of recruited some new blood into our ranks. These guys are dedicated, passionate and friendly, they are a perfect match for our existing roster i cant wait to get into serious prac with the lads and aim to hit my goals and try and help them with theirs. Ok outside of the game hasn't been going as well as it could be I've been doing more hours at work which is a great thing means more money $$ however on the flip side my grandmothers condition has deteriorated immensely and she is now in hospice holding on for her life. AFAIK as soon as someone is admitted into hospice they very rarely get out :'( so i hope she will be the rare exception but it Isn't looking good. My dedication to weight loss has also slipped. Alot of people out there would think that its easy to lose weight but it Isn't. to get to the point I'm at you have to have a problem and these problems aren't easily fixed. I am still working on fixing my lifestyle and it will be a longer journey than i originally thought but its one i must continue with.
