umm I'm not in Sydney and I'm not sure of the best place to start looking :s but yeah get in early and see if you can get a place near the venue to cover travel costs and make it cheaper on yourself if you can't find some place to stay. Hopefully there's someone with a free room available or maybe even someone who's accommodating some other SC2'ers that come down for the event.

Would suck to miss out on ACL because you can't find a place to stay.
