This.
They accused us of giving our own DOTA 2 team a easier bracket while all brackets and groups were randomised.
Still seems strange, maybe you could clarify some things.
1. The thing that gets me still is the way it was handled. Admins made defensive posts on reddit, even going on the offensive and making outrageous claims, before deleting all their posts. This is either terrible PR, or a coverup (perhaps just a coverup of terrible PR?)
3. Is it common practice to shuffle a finals bracket??? It seems to me that it is easily abusable without the public knowing if youre being truthful or not. How the hell am i supposed to know that you shuffled it once then published it? There is literally nothing stopping you from shuffling it until you have a bracket you like, then going with that one. It seems to me the logical way to do it, and the way that pretty much every tourny does it is to predetermine how the bracket will be seeded.
3. is probably my main concern. If you are telling the truth and there is no match fixing here, please change the way you organise brackets next time so as to eliminate the possiblity for you to manipulate it. It seems to me that because of the reshuffle (and possible extra reshuffles) there isn't any way that you can prove beyond all doubt that their was no match fixing involved, we simply have to take your word for it.
