Unrelated: Never got the hang of Gimp myself. Been stuck using Paint.NET.

I'm still yet to actually have someone tell me exactly why Gimp is worse. Everyone is always saying "UH IT'S BAD" and that's it :P

I had difficulty with the user interface and an overabundance of options and little in the way of a quick user guide for basic functions barring the plethora of (poorly sorted) YouTube tutorials that usually cater to one specific feature. I expect the guides are out there, but I personally just don't have the patience to find them

GIMP is actually no different from PS...just different commands, different UI, different hotkeys and I guess the major reason why its called bad is cause there's no "Dummy's Guide to GIMP" and alot of PS users have difficulty transitioning over...kinda like how race changing works...

I'm actually bilaterally trained (okay, fine, partially trained in GIMP) in both programs...but that was from 5 years ago :P
