way to bring things out of context b3nje909. All chadmann said was that it is not very nice to bad mouth someone else's beliefs. Which is a very fair point. People going around spreading their beliefs is totally different and separate from the point he was making =/

Infact, I would put it to you, that most Athiest dont give a rats arse about any ones beliefs.. But for some reason, christians, catholics, roman catholics, mormans, church of latter day saints, muslims. all feel the need to impose their beliefs and their religion on everyone else...
I also put it to you.. when was the last time a war was started, that didnt involve a religion, and then compare that war/s, to the amount that still wage today in the "name of god".

each to their own. I personally dont think I'm out of place. After all, religion and stone age beliefs dictate our schooling, our goverments and the way we conduct our private lives.

Yes Religion, provides comfort and security to about half the world... I dunno why, cause the majority of its most fanatical believers live in impoverished lands that are usually 3rd world standard in global economic status...

Maybe, I wouldn't care so much if I wasn't forced to live in a religious society?? Or rather have religious doctrine forced upon me by an Elected goverment??

Anyway. debating is fun yeah? as long as it doesnt desolve into shit flinging and become personnal.

I was going to say "Discussing religion on the internet. This can only end badly." back on the first page, but people were just making jokes and stuff and I figured SC2SEA wasn't the type of place for a couple of people to seriously debate that shit.
