Apology to mGG..
 

Hello; my name is PulSe and I represent Ninth Legion Gaming in Starcraft II. I am writing this letter of apology to address some of my recent actions. Although the actions will not be detailed here, they may however, be mentioned.

Firstly I would like to begin by saying sorry. Sorry to all those affected; IXL's management for the problems this has caused them, the general public for this eye saw and last but not least; Meta Game Gods's management , players and sponsors. I am deeply sorry for my actions concerning this matter, and would like to make clear that I am the sole cause for all of this. No one else was involved with the creation or spreading of the subreddit; however others may have posted on the subreddit, but I do not know who if any.

Secondly, I would greatly appreciate it if mGG's leadership is able to accept this apology and that we are then able to overcome this issue together and emerge a stronger community on the other side. All contents of the blog and subreddit were not intended to harm anyone, however things may have gone a bit out of control. The blog on SC2SEA or the subreddit on Reddit were not created in a solid state of mind. Please do not let these reflect on my character, but instead on what I 'can' be like. The time of creation for these eye saws was at around 3am, this means that all actions were not clearly thought through. Regardless, I am not trying to make excuses for my actions; they were terrible and extremely un-warranted and inexcusable. I have spoken with the management of the Ninth Legion and we have agreed on a three week ban from competing in any clan wars.

Once again, I am deeply sorry for my actions and can assure you that I will never repeat such a stunt again.

Well at least everything is over and done with now. Personally, I wasn't that offended by the blog, because it was clearly childish. What offended me was the fact that these things keep happening and they affect not just those mentioned, but also the rest of the community and the way that sc2sea.com and SEA is viewed. I accept the apology and am sure that something like this won't be happening again. However, I do feel there needs to be some rules put in place by SC2SEA.com regarding the recent spate of BM and troll blogs. There needs to start being some repercussions.

^^ Yup, the whole 'troll blog' issue damages the site and the community as a whole, much more than any individual blog hurts any individual clan/player mentioned in them.

I've asked plenty of times, and will continue to ask cause I think its completely relevant to accepting the apology, the question of WHY. All mGG seemed to have done is have a clan war with IXL (which you guys did well winning 5-2) and then all of a sudden some sort of hatred as been formed between IXL and mGG. I would love to know why so many of the IXL guys have decided to start hating mGG, but more then that I want to know what caused you to go through all the effort of creating new sc2sea acount, Reddit acount, a sub reddit and how every many different threads on it.

We do have sponsors so we take this very seriously, If they were to find a mGG reddit where some very disgusting things have been posted by people using fake mGG acounts I take it extremely seriously.

I would like to move past this and have it over and done with. but once again before I do I would like to know why.

Sincerely hoping this is the last time such incidents happen. It's bad enough to have a troll blog but to use the clan tag to impersonate as a mGG member (including the persons who have posted into your reddit whom you have claimed you do not know who they are) was definitely even more serious.

The whole point of doing things the way they have been done was to stop things from blowing up all over again. mGG and IXL sorted this out in private for that specific reason. We could have made a post showing all the evidence and made them deal with it publically, but we figured that would give to much attention to something that isnt worth the attention. Unless people have slamdunk proof of who else should be making an apology (and I mean slamdunk proof), then I would suggest taking any further grievences to PM.

I too would like to find a motive behind these actions. I cannot think of any provocative behaviour for the subreddit and blog, the only activity had recently was a clan war that Alpha mentioned.

The impersonation of an mGG player to damage another clan’s credibility is very childish, but it’s even worse when that clan has sponsors willing to support not only the clan but the community as a whole through their sponsorship. These actions come back to hurt everyone in the end and that's what bothers me to most. It’s downright pathetic.

I’m glad that you came out and apologised and this has been sorted out maturely, I really hope that there won’t be any more troll/bm threads of any kind against anyone and that we can move on from this.

This should be a PM. Blogs right now consist of trolling, drama, apologies because of the previous and then maybe 5% actual blog worthy content. Unless your apology is to the community at whole, keep it private. I honestly don't really care if mGG and IXL are not on good terms, the only ones who should are those involved. Please keep it to PMs or skype or SOMETHING. Your apology is directed at mGG so, please, direct it at mGG not sc2sea blogs. Thank you.

Oh my god this... i honestly never like posting much on sc2sea anymore due to constant drama which is incredibly frustrating since i love this community so much. -_- just all that i ask everyone please think before posting any blogs or drama. >.<

Let me just say that this was done in private initially and we were encouraged by admins to do the entire thing publicly. Instead, we opted for a simple apology so that those affected could be satisfied (and this went beyond mGG BTW, >1 pro player was also targeted).

But yes, I definetely agree, we and everyone else is sick of seeing these types of dramas, hence the call for there to be in place some form of repercussion for misuse of sc2sea.com posting privileges.

Kinda ironic, because this whole thing should have been a PM, or a Skype convo. If you are apologizing for something you've done, the public at least deserves to know what you've done.

I'm still lost as to why this is a "big deal" on a public forum, with all of sc2sea being in a need-to-know basis in regards to petty events

Let's all be grown-ups and drop the whole event - It's sorted internally.
