I'm sorry, but this was a repost from /r/atheism that floated round months ago and is your typical and generally unfair bashing of Christianity.

Even if the story was true, i would only believe it in the context of American culture. Australians generally do not exclaim things like that.

I don't frequent r/atheism, and regardless I don't think that its origin necessitates a particular meaning (I think the actual words will do that). Observing that some christians preach ideals to which they do not conform is not bashing, nor does it imply that this is a uniquely christian situation. You could replace "christians" in this story with fat people and make it so that the man gave the old lady a salad when she only had hamburgers, and the story does not suddenly become a bashing of fat people.

I think for me, knowing the context of where this post comes from automatically tags it as bashing. It serves no other purpose on that subreddit - just anti-Christianity circlejerking that is extremely typical for that page. If I didnt know it had come from there, then yeah sure, maybe on its own merits I would interpret it differently.

Im not going to comment any further because op is clearly trolling me, and I hardly feel sc2sea.com is the place for such a topic, but thought I'd reply to you nonetheless.

A few months ago I was kind of short on graphic work, and as I get idle hands thought I'd send out some blind emails to some teams in NA & EU. About a week later I was checking my emails after having no luck so far, and came across a response from EG. My jaw dropped - they had seen my work and wanted to have a discussion with me via voice chat. I was shocked, I mean surely this wasn't real... right? I doubled, tripled, quadruple checked the email and it was legitimate!

Anyways after some more correspondance and a lot of scrambling to get my stuff organised for the meeting, the day came and I was in the call. Everything went perfectly (well, nearly) - they looked over some more stuff I had prepared and we talked about their requirements and expectations. They wanted to put me on a salary (well, it was a temp contract). There was some more official stuff done and we put some more numbers and dates down on paper. It wouldn't pay as much as my office job, but who the hell cares - I was in!

Anyway it had only just now dawned on me that I had forgotten to let Team Nv know about all this. Similarly my current boss (office job) didn't know either. My latter was easily dealt with, I handed in my resignation and dusted my hands of that (thank god). Letting the team know however was a lot harder and I didn't really know what to say. I called up Dox on my new smart phone (hey what better way to spend my new esports $$$) and had a good chat. He said he would miss my 'leet skillz' (among other things), but said that I'd be crazy to pass up the offer - besides he could pull Pinder out of retirement to lay some sick styles. Anyway it was all pretty sad, I said cya to all the guys. I think deth took it the hardest - he is pretty ridiculous!

That was all on Sunday, and on Monday it was game face! I got up nice and early for my first call with the marketing director of EG - Terry 'Cabby' Cabbarela - who would be giving me my first project under the banner of EG! I was REALLY nervous and when I get nervous my brain just shuts down. We spent a few hours talking about re-branding EG as I'd done some rough calcs on the back of my notepad and could get a 10% increase in marketing power by simply using a few layer styles in Photoshop (some drop shadow and bevels here and there)!

Somehow things took a turn for the worse, and we got into a disagreement - which soon turned into a full blown argument. He ended up bringing in some other EG management, and of course by that point I'd totally lost my nut. The big boys said they could find 'fresh' talent anywhere and that I was no 'dice'. Most of them gave up arguing after a few minutes (about seven or eight). The marketing director wouldn't budge so i finally decided to give up - And I yelled to the Cabby "Yo, homes smell you later!". I looked at EG's kingdom I was finally there, but i gave up my shot as the prince of EG-lair.
