Learning The Levels #1
 

As you can see this is to do with JaKaTaK's threads on The Levels and The Core. I thought it was an awesome idea and since I am motivated to get my level back up in SC2 I figured I would blog my journey.

Pretty much everything is in the video this week, nothing really to write aside from my issues with the CTRL + SHIFT + 0 binding which for some reason works in everything even the hotkey menus in SC2, but not in game -_- lol.

Well I hope you enjoy my thoughts and progress I will be doing this weekly and hopefully for those undertaking the same maybe itll help you along, and also help develop the methods used!!!

Q10 in FAQ resolves the oft mentioned Ctrl-Shift-0 problem in the 87 pages (I've read the all) on The Core...its a Windows issue, simple resolution...

Its not the same issue, I am running windows 7, and I can actually set the hotkey itself to ctrl + shift + 0 however ingame it doesnt respond. So the only time it doesnt work is when I need it to pretty much >.<

I've been playing with a modified version of the core for a couple of weeks and have for the most part adapted to it. For me one thing that helped was rebinding all my keys in other games to use the same hand placement. Over a decade of wasd in fps games really ingrained the left side hand placement and I still find my hand appearing there sometimes.

While I'm at it I guess I can tag along and give the levels a shot

I use default hokey, no changes ,no external program ,no smurf.
and that is the secret to improve the overall game-play.
IMHO.Player who made thing easier for themselves are not true gamer.
