Just another day on NA part 2
 

So it's time for another ladder game on NA and i run into this lovely protoss player called PeaKnuckles

I start by opening my standard 15 pool 16 hatch ZvP opener and i'm surprised he lets my hatch down without using his probe to block it... little did I know he was intending to let my hatch up! damn those tricky protoss players!



This is one of the things that a Zerg player absolutely hates to see happen to them.



So I react pretty quickly, pull my drones and start using the drone drill to clear the pylon as fast as I can!



Now that I've finally managed to clear the pylon, I can start working on that cannon. I lose a few drones in the process of this but it should be worth it if I can clear out his cannons in time for my lings to pop.



Clearly he's not done though, as he puts down 2 more cannons and 2 manner gateways to simcity, making it almost impossible to break through before the cannons complete.



So instead, I notice that he only has 1 cannon building at his natural with my initial scouting overlord and I opt to go for a counter attack with my lings/drones.



Realising that he can't defend his base, he decides to do the same thing and counter attacks me!!!



Now that he probably knows his silly build backfired hes getting a little upset, saying how lucky I am



And finally, its not an NA ladder game without an insult to end it.. well at least he gg'd

The end.

Oh Wait...

A few days later...

I manage to play the same guy again



Oh hey buddy looks like you've refined your build a little perhaps?



This time around, because he called me a noob for pulling my drones in the earlier game, I decide to just go with the good old fashion way and have my queens poking the pylons.




Takes so long to clear those pylons with 2 queens but eventually I did. I safely established my natural and begin making a 3rd while his warpgate is almost done!



His response to my 3rd is transition from 1 stargate into 6 gate, 2nd stargate and charge + archon lol



My ovie sees his unit comp though!



So my response to that is, max out on Roach + Queen cause he still hasn't even taken a 3rd yet lol



I engage my max army at his natural while with a superior economy hes struggles to defend!



All that's left after the battle is some protoss air units and tears.



NA will always be the same.

Wow , good screenshot and post , response etc. hopefully you can upload the first replay so that noob zergs like me will be able to analyze how to counter this pylon block shit! haha

Standard Protoss gameplan.
