I just patrol a drone at 2.20 now. Its an eco loss, but at least i dont rip my eyes out and retire from sc2

I just do the super secret nydus build and laugh to myself as I crush protoss soul and steal their ladder points.

But then again I'll be stuck in diamond forever T.T

GREENmOnkey did this to me today. I don't understand why they do it. They learn nothing from it and it's not viable in tournament games because of the depots. I don't know about other people but I play this game with the goal of getting good. Not to win through gimmicky strategies that give me no further knowledge.

Very few things make me rage in this game but that is one of them. It's just sad because in our relatively undeveloped sc2 scene in SEA we rely on ladders for a lot of practice for tournaments. And losing 100 minerals on drone patrolling blindly pisses me off as i won't do that in a tournament.

Ah well I was super mad before but don't despair guys just patrol dat drone if you see a forge/early scout!

It's kinda funny actually my idea of "super mad" really isn't that bad compared to most online rage, should be happy with that at least :P

I can understand why you're all getting mad but you shouldn't be getting mad at the player you should be getting mad at Blizz.

Yeah Grim I blame blizzard mostly, as i wrote in the blog

And yeah Chad it works on every single blizzard map even if you pool first. Blizzard decided to nerf the drone stacking to get out of it because they genuinely think that the zerg having to patrol a drone there and lose 100minerals of mining helps balance the game >.<

Tournaments have universally agreed this is stupid, not sure why Blizzard are dragging the chain. Oh wait I know, it's like how they took OVER A YEAR to remove close-spawn shattered and metal.

Bahaha, greenmonkey did it to me too. Personally I don't really have anything against people doing it while the opportunity is there (I may or may not have abused gold bases on ladder myself...) - if you're just laddering for fun, why not? It's a good strategy. It is certainly frustrating if you're trying to use ladder as tournament practice, however.

Not True, cannon rush behind minerals is arguably just as effective and more effective on some maps vs hatch first.

I just go tgun style and nydus that kids main when someone does it to me, personally.
