[B2GM] Episode 5.
 

Hello, so this is the fifth episode of the way to GM series.
I see my level has grown A LOT. Even thought I got downgraded from Gold to bronze in korea, which i dont really care. I can play consistently and win to european and really often.
So, as you guys might know I´m not going to play ladder this season on the european server so I can have my 5 qualifier matches and get directly to or . So this season I will be playing a lot of korean ladder, a lot of practice matches and try to improve my skills to skills.
I would play both ladders but I have to study every day so there isnt much time + I´d rather waiting and trying to get my skills up faster playing against , players.

This is how I see my matchups atm:

ZvP is always the same, they FFE, you punish with nydus/proxy hatch/roach push to force them to make cannons and waste a lot of cash. I really like putting a nydus close to my opponents base to get my slow reinforcements fast enough. I still have some trouble with late game and when they do DT drops on the mineral line, which it seems that you can only stop it with an overseer and 3-4 spinecrawlers.
I still play a Roach heavy style, with infestors and 5-8 mutalisks to harrass + I try to drop roaches/Nydus when I see he is about to push to make him loose time.
My winrate is about 40% vs players. (Which is the level I want to achieve in this 2 months)

ZvT , well its still my worse matchup, Its really easy when they go fullmech since you can abuse that they´re really SLOW and do nydus/roach drops when they are trying to make it to your base. I have A LOT of trouble when they go marine-tank. I´m now playing ling, banes and roaches for the early game , transitioning into ling bane muta when its midgame and trasitioning to ling ultra bane infestor when its late.
My winrate is about 35% vs players.

ZvZ, its somehow my best matchup, I havent really practiced it at all. I can take down players with a 70% winrate and I can take with almost a 50%.
My style depends on my opening, if i go 14/14 then I use defensive banelings to protect my expo , which comes at 21. If i do a 15 hatch , 15 pool I go for a speedling/roach defense and try to macro up as much as I can + running with the lings all over the map killing hidden expansions, thirds with no protection and doing some runbys when i see he´s moving out.

I think its still pretty decent to win 3+ out of 10 against mostly players.
I still have a hard time microing with control groups (There werent any control groups on WC3 as far as I remember) so I will just keep on boxing all my units to micro them which is really bad.
So yeah, now im trying to rush to diamond in before the season ends, if anyone + would like to be a training partner on the korean or european server you can msg me with absolutly no problem. I´m also willing to help any lower league, even though I´m one to get started on the KR server .
