This blog, is going to be my experiences from being a lowely Gold newbie who taught cutting probes was a good thing. to where i am today. and where I am is, On the 8th of June, I am getting on a plane to Malaysia to start my FULLTIME job in e-sports as a Content producer/team manager and lead caster for fxopen e-sports!


About ME!

So for anyone who hasnt had the pleasure of working with me or playing games with me before, My name is Daniel "Unstable" Siddel. I am as of the 8th of June the defacto Producer/Team manager and lead caster for fxopen esports!

I have a very rare personality. I am no bullshit straight up to people when they ask for what I think, this comes across as arrogant but I don't care, I would rather people know what I think than not. even if it may hurt relationships, its better they be done with now than me waste time with them.

You only live ONCE. so ******* go for what you want to do with everything you've got. Don't waste your life wondering "what if". If one of your mates goes "I bet you cant hook up with THAT chick" and points at a random in a club. go try. nothing is stopping you your mate already thinks you will fail, but if you do it your mate will never forget it! (suck shit callum). if you want to go pro at SC2, go do it. nothing is holding you back but YOU.

So, how did I get involved in SC2? I played SC1 but only as a custom game 3v3 etc player because I was 11 or 12 at the time. fell in love with the game. but it wasn't until I heard that the sc2 beta was out. That I took interest again. I played every game at a competitive level. and I knew SC2 would be a huge e-Sport.

Back then I wasnt very good. some of my favourite strategies were 1base muta and as protoss cutting probes to get 1 immortal out to bust a terrans ramp (lol)

But i was improving. Unfortunately for me at the time I was working a job that was minimum 12-14 hour days. and i knew I wouldn't be able to put the time required to get any better.
